Seeing the prisoner motion toward Malrid irritated more than a few of the men in the room, particularly one individual.
Seizing Alaria by the arm, he (the individual) began hitting her in the face repeatedly… Then threw her headfirst into the wall, causing her to lose consciousness.
“That will teach her.” As he said this, all the Easterlings in the room roared with laughter.
“Take her to one of the cells, when she wakes, bring her back to me.” The leader said, directing his order to the young Easterling who had found Malrid in the pit.
“Yes sir.” The young man replied while throwing the limp figure of Alaria over his shoulder, he then exited the room.
Turning his attention to Malrid, the leader spoke up, “You can make this easy for yourself, and tell me all about you and your little plans. Or…”
He nodded to a couple of harsh-looking Easterlings standing near the doorway, then continued with a wry grin, “We can help you out a bit.”
((I have permission to do all this to Alaria, just so you know.))

Malrid could only watch in horror, he knew he was too weak to actualy stop them. A tear fell from his face. He turned to look at the leader. "I will tell you nothing." He then spat at the leader and snarled.

"How soon till we reach the camp?" she asked urgently. She was worried now, more worried than before, and didn't know why.

The cell door of Agrim's cell opened. A dark bundle was thrown in, Agrim knew what it was, another prisoner. He decided to wait until he or she woke up, untill then, Agrim fondly fingured the knife that a guard had dropped by his cell by accident a few days ago.

'Don't know... not exactly sure what we're looking for...' Aérin was quickly cut off as his steed almost fell head first into what appeared to be a man-made ditch... a pit.
The 4 dismounted and examined the area, Arandil kept a steady eye on the surroundings for any unwelcome guests.
Without further warning, Aérin jumped in. Elwen and Silmeriel only watched with curious interest.
Aérin fingered at the twigs and shubbery at the basin of the pit... rubbing two of his fingers together close to his noce he eventually spoke...
'Blood, it's fresh.'

Kneeling at the edge of the pit, Elwen looked down to Aerin. "Naur would not have had time to dig a pit as large as this. He must have had help. Or... it was already there. We may be dealing with more enemies than we bargained for."

"Well then, we'll just have to be smarter." Silmeriel said determindly (sp?)

Aérin pulled himself out of the pit. And looked around the scenery. 'We know for a fact Naur isn't alone in the northern land. Halbard told us himself, the Easterlings are using the mountains of the north as passage into our lands. No doubt Naur has taken Alaria to one of the encampments in the lowers hills. I'm not sure what we can do as a force, there's no way of knowing how many of them we'll face, one thing is sure... we'll face them none the less.'
Aérin climbed back onto his horse and trotted steadily northward. Keeping a keen eye out on the horizon ahead.

Alaria awoke, without the slightest idea of where she was. She rubbed her head gently. It hurt terribly. As she sat up slowly and looked around, she could see nothing at first, but her eyes quickly got used to the darkness. She closed her eyes for a couple of moments, trying to remember what had happened. When she opened them again, she could dimly see a dark figure in the corner.

Agrim looked at the moving figure in the corner and said gruffly, "Hmmf, So where did they find you?" After a moment when he saw the fear emmiting from the figure, he held up a piece of bread left over from his meal, "here, eat, it will do you good and give you strength"

Alaria took the small piece of bread thankfully and ate it. She could feel the renewed strength immediately, since she hadn't eaten or had anything to drink for days. She could see the figure was that of a Dwarf, but the face was still too faint to see. After a while she spoke. 'I don't remember much, but...' she thought for a moment, then continued. 'The northern borders of Mirkwood are in flames, caused by the dragon hunting the lands of the East. In the confusion of the smoke, I got lost from my company, then captured by the prisoner of our own.' She looked at her hands, trying to remember. Both her memory and vision was very faint, but she tried to figure out where she had seen the Dwarf. He seemed familar. She wiped off the blood in her face with her sleeve, and looked up. 'What is your story, master dwarf?'

The company moved on... now a little more wary of thier surroundings. They moved at a far less intense pace, afraid of falling foul of one of the traps set by the easterlings.
After a while the terrain became more harsh and rocky. They would make little more ground on horse back.
'We should tie up the steeds, we can't go any further without risk of being heard on this terrain.' Aérin spoke quietly.
Arandil looked toward the east. 'The sun is setting, soon the darkness will conceal our approach.' He hopped off his bridle and onto the undersoil. 'I am eager to reach my sister, we cannot tarry long.'

"My story is a confusing one filled with secrecy. All i can say is that i was travelying with a fellowship of others from many races. I am fighting those that have me held here, and this is the second time that i have been captured. I do not know how i was taken, nor where i am save that it is easterlings that hold us. I have been here for many days, i do not know their number. I have only one weapon, a knife, and my strenght to help me escape, but escape i must."

Alaria looked at the dwarf and after a while she came to realize, who it was she was talking to. 'Agrim?' she asked, almost whispering. She could see confusion spread on his face. 'It is I,' she continued. 'Alaria.' She tried to get up, but felt faintness at once and fell into unconsciousness again, hitting the ground with a thud.

The leader nodded at the Easterlings once again… This time his intention was clear.
All at once, each began hammering on the captive. Some gave him several blows to the face while others kicked him in the torso continuously.
This held on for quite some time… Until the leader had motioned for them to stop.
Grabbing Malrid by the hair, he said, “You will tell me what your intentions are. If not, then it will not be only you who suffers, but your friend as well.”
At this, he let go off the captive’s hair, allowing him to fall back.
-----------------
As the sun began to set and darkness made its way into the encampment, a lone figure sat in front of a prison cell… Seemingly distraught.
Should I believe him? Is he telling me the truth or is it all just lies?
Naur asked himself over and over again, now more confused than ever. Whether this Easterling had told him the truth or had lied, one thing was certain; he would never look at his people the same way again.
With a sigh, Naur picked himself up from the ground and made his way back… Knowing that a choice lie ahead of him, what his decision was he knew not.
