You should rea the previous posts. It's very diffucult not to copy when you are dong the smae genre of writing. Here is what I previously said: Yes, maybe you're right and I musun't forget that a year ago just before I become a crazy fan of LOTR I was a fan of Hp (books, I didn't love the movies and I still don't love them)...

I only liked the first movie. They completely messed up the third.

Yeah, I'm surprised so many people still liked it and it sold so much.

I know! especially just one film. They considered making it into 2 films and releasing them within a few months of each other, but they decided against it. *is very afraid for GoF*

They really need to make them longer. That way they get more material in.

*fumes* they really need to make them more like the books!
I refused to go see PoA after I saw pictures of hermione wearing pink. Hermione, in my opinion, is not a pink girl. And what was with the jeans? Anyway, i thought they wore their robes all the time.

Exact same thing that bugged me too! I found out the answer in an interview. She hated wearing those skirts so she had the let her wear pants for the movie. they wanted to show that they were teenagers. She was so happy that she could finally wear pants. she could have at least worn robes over it! I don't think she's much of a pink girl either but it looked okay.

I didnt mind the normal clothes so much as just... Hermione. She wasnt like Hermione at all!!! She was pretty, and Hermione isnt supposed to get pretty until halfway thru GoF... I miss the bushy hair! I dont really like Emma Watson or her attitude very much... not Hermione-ish at all! One thing I really hate about the movies is that they dont have very good character development. I think they give a false view of what the character is truely like. In the books, the character development is great, and all the important characters have many layers... in the movies they are kind of flat.

I goota gree with you. They shouldn't have made her pretty yet. And she is not fit for the part exaactly. Well she did good in the first two but the teenage thing screwed it up. I love the books.

Oh darm, the Harry Potter movies were terrible. So badly directed, awful camera angles, and rubbishy acting aswell They didn't have the same fat Lady in the 3rd film, which I watched last night, they used Dawn French! Why?!? Not to be like a downer, I love Harry Potter, honestly. I just think someone else could have made a better job of directing them... I'm afraid to say... yes

I remember reading somewhere that JKR told the directors that they dont have to follow the book event for event, so long as they kept the "spirit" or whatever of the book. And I think what she meant by the "spirit" is not just the general plot (saving the stone, rescuing Ginny from the chamber, finding out about Sirius, etc) but the feeling of the books as well. I think the books have a much different feel to them. The movies are kind of immature and annoying and cliche, but the books are unique, and humorous yet also very serious at times. Ahh, why did they have to butcher them so?
