Very broad question.
Well just the truth, wisdom and lessons of the books. The reality of it all and how it all ties in. the beauty.

Very good question. I think the way that the books (and movies) are made make them so realistic, I mean LOTR is a story about good and evil and the character's relationships are really close to the relationships we've in real life and of course when you're reading (or watching) Middle-Earth is so well described (or made) that you start to beleive that it really existed (exists) but not really - LOTR happended 'only in our hearts' (sir Ian McKellen)...

I think what makes it most realistic is that everything isn't all happy and smiles in the end. It's good but to a limit. Everything is.

Yes it isn't the story where in the end all the guys are happy, living together, all the characters from LOTR countinued live their life without their friends...

Yeah, after all that, it isn't easy to pick up where you left off.

I agree, I mean even I can't pick my old life after watching and reading about Middle-Earth and all the people around me say that I'm really changed and I think that after all they're right...
