'She. She is still here... My dearest Aodhain. There is more to this little bird than meets the eye. You must reach out with your mind's eye. Only then will you begin to feel your true power and potential.'
Rorak shuffled slightly and turned his attention to the falcon. 'I'm curious little bird.' He spoke softly. 'What is your name?' There's no need to be afraid.'

((sorry if nothing makes sense i'm not with it today))
Eilnys turned and Irna had vanished she sighed and jumped back into the tree, she climbed to the top most branches and looked out into thr curtains of rain, A clap of thunder sounded over head, the rain pouring down harder then ever, Eilnys let out a high pitched whistle and waited clinging onto the branches the wind unbareable "Come on Darnys hurry up" she looked down and saw irina hiding again, she looke out again into the sky the rain pouring down in sheets making it hard to see clearly, she spotted darnys flying through the rain, she came to a halt next to the tree, Eilnys jumped on her hair plastered to her face, she paused halfway as she heared a scream, she looked down and saw irina in trouble, she jumped of Darnys and climb down to the lowest barnce of the tree, she crounched and watched a fireball erupting in her hand in her hand

((My characters, Queen Mab and Niar, have their bios now. Check it out to see what their purposes are in this story.))
In her palace, Queen Mab read her stones and crystals to watch over Niar. Niar was asleep upon the rocks. Mab saw her moment of oppertunity. She desperately wanted a new leader for the emerald vale, so she would create a child within Niar's womb. A child who would be half mortal and very powerful in black magic. Queen Mab teleported herself to the ocean waves where Niar lay. As sly as a fox, Mab stole Niar's skin and cast a spell upon Niar's belly. Niar was now with child. Mab was happy as she had so far succeeded. In a flash of lightening, she teleported back to her palace. All Queen Mab had to do now was wait. Mab might have a quick temper, but she can have great patience when she wants to. Niar woke at the flash. She didn't know what it was. Standing up, gazing upon the cresting waves, she longed to go back to the ocean. She reached down for her skin and found that it was gone. Panic grew inside of her. There was not a soul around, so who could have taken it? Frantically, she searched the rocks and bent over the water to see if perhaps her skin had fallen in. That is when she noticed, a small lump in her belly. She realised she was with child. Niar felt confused and dazed. She did not know by what means this had happened. All she knew, was that she needed help. There was a town not far off that she knew of. Niar did not like to be around many people because she felt uncomfortable and she did not crave that kind of attention. But the need of help and counsil drove her, so she reluctantly walked towards the town. She hoped maybe there she would find her skin. She finally reached the town and wandered through the streets. She was not sure where to go nor who to ask for help. She kept wandering. Niar heard the whistle of a falcon near by. Niar was more in touch with nature than she was with the ways of humans, so she headed toward the sound.

Laranna preened her feathers for a moment then fluttered off the sil and onto the the floor then morphed back into her Druid form. "My name is Laranna, old one", Laranna said with respect then she looked at what she knew to be a shade.

Aodhain turned to the bird with more insight and saw that it was indeed a female. She turned to Rorak, watching closely, then turned to the bird, and streached her mind....

Rorak waited with anticipation as the falcon did indeed morph back into druid form. 'Hello there.' Rorak spoke quietly, staring blankly a little off from where the druid now stood. 'What brings you here I wonder?'

Niar walked toward the sound of the falcon and saw her in a window sill. Niar got close to the window but stopped as she saw the falcon transform into a human, a druid. Niar was startled at this sight as she peered through the window. She now tried to hide herself as much as possible before she was seen by the people inside.

((I believe I'm going to have to take my leave for a while. But keep on going; this story is turning out great! Rafea will make a reasonable exit...))
With the feeling of someone behind her gone, as well as the strange shimmering, Rafea fluttered slowly down. Her vision was fogging also, and she couldn't be sure weather she was really safe or if she was just darkening, and her senses had abandoned her. She walked very slowly, in no particular dirction, away from the settlement of the Emerald Vale, now abosolutely certain that it was time to sleep. Her power of becoming human came at a price....a very high price. She had to get away before she collapsed in front of some human, or worse, a magical foe.
After some time of plundering on in darkness, she came upon a cave. Practically walked into it, actually. Here it was safe enough to rest, her senses could tell her that. It was the last thing they told her, in fact, before she was thrown into absolute blackness.

Laranna was about to answer the old man's question (sorry if that seemed a bit harsh...) but she saw something out of the cornor of her eye. She turned her head and saw what looked like a human. Laranna wasn't fooled, to say the least. She stayed perfectly still watching the Selke.

Rorak sat in peace... 'Why do you hesitate? We will not hurt you...' He turned to where Aodhain was last standing in his knowledge. 'Tell me my friend Aodhain, what is happening? What troubles our new friend?'

Niar overheard them and grew more frightened. She got on her knees and tried to hide herself in the bush beneath the window. She didn't know what to do, she was too scared.

Aodhain frowned. " There are people..." she said, her face flickering with resentment. " People who would hurt this bird..Hiding right outside us!" She stalked over to to window and look around furiously.

Laranna heard the shade's words and she said quickly, "i am not a bird..i am a Druid." Laranna had a feeling that the Shade and the man would not believe her, since Druids were thought to be creatures of myth.

'A druid! This is most interesting... most interesting indeed. Who is your friend? Hiding outside. Ask her to come in and close the window... it is awfully breezy and my feet are getting cold.
It seems we all have much to talk about.' Rorak mused whilst fiddling with a little piece of paper in his hands.
