I'm new here, but why not jump right in and Role Play? This is going to be a fantasy RP, set in Shod'in (see the character bio/backround info topic below. The basic rules apply here (no spam, no flames, etc...) but I'm sure all y'alls know them by now. Its original, so have fun creating characters. Give them a fun personality, or something - and most importantly, HAVE FUN ;D
************************************* In the emerald vale, it seems like a peaceful night. All is quiet, except for the now-faint music coming from the Long Hall, where everyone is gathered. Except for one person. She stands with her back to the Hall, looking down into a clear stream, lost in thought. Even the howling, ominous wind that soon picks up doesn't jar her from her concentration. She only turns around at the feeling of a prescence behind her.

Laranna as a small lizard watched the Gyffyn from her position on a rock behind the human looking Gyffyn. Laranna watched as the Gyffyn looked around for someone...and became confused because she didn't see anyone.

((shes a centaur, if you haven't read her bio yet..))
Irina stood hushed and listening like a night owl, prowling about, watching for her prey, as her centaur hooves stepped and navigated their way through a parting in the trees. Her long blonde tresses dangled lifelessly in the wind, creating a golden radiance about her, reflecting off of her dappled grey horse pelt. Small specks of dust clouded and blew away into oblivion with every muted step she made. Irina was indeed, beautiful, in an enchanting, mysterious type of way.
Her senses now heard muffled music, and then discovered a hall. It seems as if everyone in the area was there. What a coincidence. If Irina put one hoof in that place, she would be slain with a stroke of a sword, or her hair singed and body burned. Humans didn't like centaurs, for they thought they were evil, murderers all the same. Irina was no murderer. But everyone seemed to think so, since she had slain a dragon before, but only in self-defence.
The lovely female centaur picked up a hung-over, smooth trot behind a rock, and changed to her invisibilit y powers. She, as her invisible self, danced gracefully over hoof-trodden soil, that was disgraced by the occasional wooden wheel mark of a cart or carriage. Irina then stopped, and waited in the middle of a patch of grass, near a very interesting character by lets say, oh, about 100 paces away. This character, a female, was standing with her back to this gathering. How odd. She spied on her, for a moment, waiting to see what would happen.

An elderly man sat by the open window, the breeze of the wind washing against the lines of wisdom across his wizened forehead. To any passer by, it would seem he was watching the town hall and the streets below. But as the man was blind, this was impossible. Instead, Thu'skas Rorak listened intently. He listened to the music coming from the hall, he listened to the birds signing, he listened to the trotting of peculiar hooves on the soft grass, he listened to the winds of change...
The emerald Vale was peaceful and slumbering.

((wow that was good))
Eilnys sat upright on Darny's back something was happening below she peered over the dragon's wings span and saw a crowd gathered below "I wonder what's going on down there" she said to darnys in dragon toungue quickly, the dragon looked down "yes i noticed that, i have been circleing for awhile" she said calmly, Eilnys stroked her hair back from her face so she could see better, she blue eyes glinting in the sun light, suddenly curioustiy over came her "Darnys start to decensed i want to check it out" she said quickly, the dragon let out a soft growl and started to lower.
Once on the ground Eilnys jumped off and looked round, she noticed something that most other people hadn't noticed, there were 3 people stood away to the side, she spoke to darnys quickly who flew off imediatly, Eilnys grinned and walked over to the 3 people, the Lizard, Invisible centaur and a gryffyn with her back to the hall. She sat down next to the lizard avoiding on sitting on it, she looked down at it and smiled it scurried onto her lap quickly Eilnys smiled and picked it up in her hand and quickly whispered to it "hello my old friend" the lizard fkicked it's toungue out, Eilnys lowered her hand and the lizard scurried off into the tree's and returned as a druid girl "Hello Laranna" Eilnys said happily to hre old friend

Leaning against one of the tall marble pillars situated within the Long Hall, an unfamiliar figure listened to the music, a strange smile on their strange face and seemingly oblivious to the frequent glances they recieved from the surrounding folk.
She - for the stranger was indeed female - had long dark hair falling in a thick plait down to her ankles and her skin was a most peculiar translucent blue like moonlight reflected upon a still lake in the night. Her eyes were a hypnotising green with swirls at their centre instead of an iris and her teeth a stark white against her pale skin. She wore nothing but a short white tunic with a belt of what appeared to be reeds around her slim waist and her feet were unadorned. Tied to her ankle was a dagger, recently sharpened, but she showed no intention of using it, instead simply letting the music waft over her.
Her name was Ariadnne and she was a River Nymph.

Laranna scurried into the woods then came back inher normal form where one of her friends, Eilnys, said, "hello Laranna." laranna smiled slightly and returned the greeting accidently using her native tounge. Laranna relized what she had done and smiled sloghtly then said in English, "hello Eilnys." laranna sat on the ground near the rock that Eilnys was now sitting on.

( Lady Isteleth and Turin..You can both be my mentors. I don't want to have to pick one of you. You both rawk! )
Black boots sounded quietly on the cold ground. A small Shade stopped, and looked up at the silver moon. She looked aroundwith raised eyebrows, and seeing no one around, quickly pulled out her pipe. It had been a year and a day since her pipe was smoked, and after this long day, frankly, she believed she deserved it. She chuckled to herself, and blew out, the smoke dancing with the wind.

"good...it makes life a little bit easier for me", laranna said with a smile. Laranna morphed into a falcon then took off and landed on a tree branch nearby. then changed back into her normal self.

The female centaur looked around, seeing more and more strayed and lost people. Good thing that they couldn't see her, for the moment. She could become invisible and visible whenever Irina pleased, but now was the appropriate time to be invisible, since all men and others she knew hated the centaurs. Her human arms were wrapped around her elbows, embracing the thermal heat that lied within her shawl. Hooves started to move again, as silent as the wind, God's breath, whispering about the flowers on a cool summer's eve.
She had sensed a pair of eyes, staring directly into Irina's heart. Her regal head turned around, blonde hair whipping back to her shoulder like that of a nine-tailed whip, some of the front strands scattering across her face. Green eyes stared into the eyes of what seemed to be a fair one, maybe elvish, or a very fine-featured human. This couldn't be good. Irina looked to her intuition, and sensed with her powers of telepathy. No, it wasn't good. This one knew that Irina was here.
Crap.
If Irina attacked, she would be slain in an instant. There would be people everywhere, taking piece by piece of her. But if she ran, her obvious hoofbeats would be easy to follow. And if she stayed, this one would eventually come and find that she truely existed. This wasn't good. Irina was truely in a pickle. Her intuition was constantly telling her to run, but her mind was telling her another. This was like choosing a child for a mandatory slaughter, a question without a benefit. Wonderous.
After careful rethinking, Irina decided to flee. Her hooves dashed back and forth, extending her pace into a breakneck, run-for-your-money type of gallop. It was obvious that she was there, for the high, dusty brown oblivion we call dust was leaving a heck of a trail behind her. Irina kept galloping, until her eyes came across about six or so boulders, a perfect hiding place. She became visible, for the sake of her own power draining, and her tiredness. Instead of clutching her shawl, a spear was rested across her chest, while an arrow was being strung, just incase these strangers had decided to follow her.

Laranna heard something and she turned her head. she saw dust..like from a running animal. Laranna morphed into a falcon and followed the dust, but staying in the trees where it would be hard to be seen. Laranna looked ahead. she saw a centaur go behind some boulders. laranna continued flying for a ways then she perched on a branch and watched the centaur from behind, her currently golden eyes curious.

Rafea was so lost in thought that she didn't notice much happening...she had turned around and was agian gazing into the stream. Her thoughts were only of her lost friends and family...she still couldn't forgive herself for that. She did try to move on. Of course she did. But now she regressed, as the silence was like that which ran through her home before she left. It took soft voices behind her, and the sound of hooves, to wake her conciousness once again. She turned.
"Hello?" She called out softly, but...no one was there. She transformed, to a griffyn, her clothes and long hair melting gracefully into feathers and the legs of a powerful lion. She followed the sounds of feathers and hooves, padding quietly behind. She sat at the foot of an ancient tree, whose roots were wrapped and entwined around large weather-worn boulders. She perched on one of the roots, so she could see. There was a faint shimmer in the air next to one of the boulders, but what it was, she couldn't tell. She could, however, see the falcon that was in a nearby tree.
"You aren't a genuine falcon, are you not? The deception is esepecially good, though - you had me tricked at first. Was it you who was behind me earlier?"

Rorak took up his staff and turned to walk back into his room. He closed the windows and settled down by the fire. He fingered the palms of his old hands whilst his thoughts drifted here and there, wandering through the archive of old tales and adventures he had experienced.
Soon his train of thought was interrupted by the door creaking ever so softly.
'Hello?' Rorak rasped weakly whilst lifting his head.
