I noticed that in the ROTK movie Frodo and Legolas never once acknowlege each other or speak to each other. Did anyone else pick that up? Just thought I'd ask.. no particular reason.

I didn't notice that but now that u mention it i completely agree! thats really wierd, but i guess there just was no need for them to talk, and they wanted to make the movies as short as possible.

well, i didnt notice that they didnt talk, so it didnt really bother me.
But they didnt really talk or acklowledge each other that much while they were in the fellowship, so i guess why would they start after is was dispanded?

didn't they acknowlege each other at the end when he wakes up? Legolas didn't laugh like everyone else but he smiled... slightly, didn't he? But they didn't talk.....

in the movie, Legolas never really seemed to be portrayed as that crucial to Frodo...i mean, he was in the fellowship and all but they never really communicated in the first place...

I don't think Legolas is the laughing type. Just the smiling type.

Hmm... Now that I think about it, he really did not. But does it matter much? Did Gimli ever speak to Frodo?

Actually, none of the fellowship talked to Frodo at that scene except for Merry and Pippin of course. Just by their looking, they know their overly joyed that they came out of this crisis alive.

That was a wonderful scene... I just wish the movie did not skip so much. Faramir and Eowyn in the Houses of Healing, for example.

That's true... In fact, I think that they only talked to each other once or twice in all three movies. That's weird!!! lol.
