My brother and I totally noticed they didn't even touch! What I mean is that not even in Moria, where they have to be tossed to get to the other side of the falling stairs. It really bugged me too, that not even a slight pat on the back when Gandalf "died". It was weird...

It was only Legolas and Gimli that didn't do that... I meen Aragorn and Boromir seemed more attached to the hobits than Gimli and espesially Legolas. Did Legolas say anything directly to Frodo at all exept that "You'll have my bow."?

I just saw the 3 movies last week ![::)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/eyesroll.png) and I really don't remember Legolas saying anything other than "You'll have my bow"

That is probably because he didn't... Maybe the people writing the script should have thought about that, since Legolas really only is there to help Frodo?

He didn't?!? He said many things.... Example: "He is here." "It is the road to Dimholt. The door under the mountain." Maybe I misunderstood you, but you wrote: Legolas really didnt talk in the ROTK Maybe you mean that he didn't talk to Frodo?

>_< the FIRST thing I noticed about Legolas is the fact that he is bad at communicating and showing his feelings. It really drives me nuts....I just can't stand the fact that he lacks any brains enough to say something to Frodo.....oh well.....maybe he has some kind of elven disease that gave him a brain difficiency....or maybe he's just tired of living for a couple of thousands of years, eh? All I know is that he really, really ,really should learn to show more and say more in the film....... I wonder why Peter Jackson chose him for Legolas?...he should have just been an extra or something. Well, that's my opinion.

Okay, I do not think you understand Legolas, or elves. Elves are traditionally somewhat remote to human beings, and I do not think that Legolas is any exception. Elves are on a higher plain than humans, and they know it. Elves do not have to speak to mortals if they do not wish to, and they certainly do not have to show emotions, thus perhaps giving a "weak" image.

Yes, elves are supposed to be that way but I'm just talking about Legolas the "actor"..not the "elf". At least the other elves in the movie were better actors....that's what I mean.
