You choose between the sons of Gondor. (Oh and erm - I didn't know which section this ought to be in, so I put it smack bang in the middle between both of them - move it if you will) Anyway, who do you like best, Faramir or Boromir - and reasons and opinions are always welcome...

I like them both alot! As a more interesting character I'd say Boromir, but as for who I like most as a person I'd say Faramir. Like vikingmaiden said, Faramir is gallant, noble, kind and caring.

Faramir!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He's one of my favourite characters! It sounds funny, and makes him sound like he's old, but I like him because of his wisdom... he knows that there are "some perils from which a man must flee.." (or whatever it is)

Thats good, I was hoping you'd all say that. But then again, Boromir is portrayed in different light than Faramir.

I liked Faramir much better because he wasn't looking for the glory of war like Boromir was.

Oh, I love Faramir, because he isn't corrupted easyly. He had courage to try and re-claim Osgiliath, and he was to strong to have listened to all the horrible things that his father did to him. Faramir also has the strength to resist the ring, and he had the heart and thoughfullness to let Sam, Frodo and Golumn free ;D

Faramir. He's my favourite from the race of Men. I would even choose him over Aragorn! ;D
(Don't tell anyone. If my best friend knew about this, she'd burn me at the stake at the next barbeque. Hahaha....)

((Ya, me too!)) I like both of them. Boromir was annoying in the movies, but in the books it is harder for me to pick a favorite. I think I would probably choose Faramir.

Yeah, exactly. I would have thought, knowing me that it was easier to choose from the books, but in the films, they all have their little marrerisms.
Not to annoy anyone, but Boromir annoyed me, having the air of someone really conceited!
But then again, Faramir has always been a favourite...

Faramir, of course!! I like it a lot!! Boromir wasn't as strong as he thought, and he tried to steal Frodo the Ring! But Faramir, in spite he wanted to show it to his father, finally he let it go!!
