*Sen looked at her for a moment before replying. He was not sure who this maiden was, but he knew he must choose his words wisely; he did not want to cause suspicion or trouble.*
My name is Sen, my lady. My buisness in Rohan is to bear a warning for its king, and to offer my services. I have travelled... a long way to get here, and I await my chance to be heard by the king. Alas, he is resting at the moment.

It was beginning to get late, and the fire soon began to humble itself and emit a more calming light about the inn. The old man was beginning to sweep the floors, as the night grew old.
A big smile curved 'pon her lips. " I too, am going to the King, good sir. I am to see him in the morning, perhaps we should go together? I am the Captain of great fleet to east, and I have travelled far to bring him bad news, such as yourself. Are you a military man?"

*Sen paused a moment.* Of sorts. I do command a small band of men and elves, only about fifty strong, though they are not here at the moment. Yet I only fight if I must. Sadly, I am either the bearer of bad news, or trouble finds me. My luck does not run well in that sense.
*Sen's face grew dark for a moment, and Annwyn thought she heard whispered memories of a battle she had never been in. It ended with a voice shouting CAAATH!, and then the whispers faded. Sen's face grew light, and he smiled.*
I would indeed like to go to the king with you, my lady. Though I might bear a warning, friendly faces are always welcome.

OOC: Yay, the thread lives....sorry for this bad post...
Lothiriel looked up. The cloaked man was talking to the stranger she'd seen earlier that day... "but wait... the other person was a woman! Indeed difficult times gather strange people", she thought trying to listen to their conversation. Lothiriel picked up words of battle and ...of the king... she felt a chill down her back, she needed to find out whether they worked for the enemy.

(OOC: Indeed it does. I'll make a deal; I'll actively post if you do. ;D )
*Sen stood and bowed to Annwyn.*
The hour is late, and I have had a long journey. I bid thee goodnight. May you be safe from harm till the morning light shines again.
*He moved away from Annwyn, and walked right past the table where Lothiriel was seated.*

[OOC: Ok, deal! I'll let my charecter go on a little bit with her suspicion...it's rather fun, oh, in fact it'd be interesting if any of you actually was evil...muhahaha]All of a sudden the cloaked man rose and walked past her table on his way out. Lothiriel didn't know what had made him leave apparently in the middle of the conversation with the other woman. Lothiriel hesitated for a moment deciding whether to follow the man or wait and see where the woman would go...

*As Sen walks past a table, he notices a lady looking at him. She quickly yet inconspicuously looks away, but Sen saw her eyes. He tipped his head slightly to her, and walked up the stairs to his room.*

She smiled softly, and bowed her head slightly as Sen stood and retired for the night, it seemed she too should make that choice, though she knew sleep would not grace her this night. The whirring sound of whipsers she had heared only moments ago aroused her curiosity and suspicion. Her mind would be too full of thoughts to let sleep take its toll.
As she stood to go upstairs, she passed a familiar face. She knew this woman had seen her before, yet not with her hood down. She noticed the shock in her eyes once she discovered that she was in fact, a woman, but she walked by too quickly to lend a smile, and Annwyn proceeded up the stairs to her room down the hall. The morning would bring new company, she knew it.

[OOC: I don't mind if you join, Midoriko. Couldn't you play an evil character....hehe, we need some conflict here!! Welcome anyway! ]Shortly after the cloaked man left, the woman too went upstairs for the night. Lothiriel quickly slipped out of the room too. She wanted to see in which rooms they were staying. She followed the woman and when Lothiriel reached the end of the stairs she saw her entering the room next to Lothiriel's own room. "Very well", she thought "I'll see you in the morning then...". She stood still for at moment trying to figure out where the man had gone. There was something about him, Lothiriel had felt so... uneasy when he passed her. She had traveled far and seen many strange people and now it seemed that they all came to meet here in Edoras... "What was this all about?". The world was indeed changing and Lothiriel wished she knew more of what were to come. She drew a sigh and decided to go to the stables to see to her horse.

Morning came swiftly, as it had all other mornings that Annwyn cared to remember. She was still up, still dressed, still pondering over Sen, and what was to come. She stood leaning against the crook of a wall, eyes gazing out unblinkingly to the rising sun. She figured a good morning is an early one, and why not wake him now? ..The King awaits.
She walked out of her room, closing the door softly behind her, and continued further down the hall to Sen's room. She had known it was his because she watched him enter it just as she reached the top of the stairs to the hallway. Annwyn knocked gently three times, and paused, waiting for an answer.

*A voice from a chair in a dark corner down the hallway startled Annwyn. She peered into the darkness, and saw it was Sen. He got up, the simple cloak that was around him falling back.* It is safer for one to hide the place where he is truly vulnerable; the place where he sleeps. It is true for enemies, and sadly, slightly disturbing for friends. Am I right in thinking that you have come with the thought of taking me to the king?

She stood silently, her seemingly young and beautiful eyes studying him, from his frame to his attire, then lastly his choice of words, and the tone of voice they were framed in. A short moment of stillness passed between them, as she did this, her pale face remained solemn, and almost visibly in need of sleep. Finally she spoke, yet with a voice gentle yet somewhat 'smart' at the same time:
" You are only half correct, Good Sir. I came not to escort you to the King, only to invite you to come with me, if that is still your wish; however, if we leave, we must make haste."

*Sen smiled, as the tense moment faded.* Indeed. Then I will accompany you, for my need to speak to the king is also urgent. *Annwyn and Sen walked out of the inn, and up the dirt path on the way to the king's hall. The morning was cold, the sky clear. The air was crisp in their lungs.* If you don't mind me asking, my lady, what is your buisness with the king? What news do you bear for his ears?
