I know I am copying off of someone in the FotR discussion forum, but this topic is fun to talk about. What made you cry? I cried when:
Theoden finds that Theodred is dead, and he says to Gandalf that "no parent should have to bury their child".
Elrond tells Arwen of what her life will be like if she stays and waits for Aragorn. She sheds a tear, and Elrond asks "Do I not also have your love?" and she says "you have my love, father".
Those are the only ones I can think of right now.

I agree with Belowen. Those two scenes were heartbreaking. I don't tend to actully cry during movies, and I didn't really cry during TTT, but it brought tears to my eyes.

I cry my heart out during those two scenes. Also when Haldir dies and when Sam has given his big speech: "...They kept going, 'cause they were holdin' on to somethin'." Frodo: "What are we holding on to, Sam?" Sam: "That there is some good in this world, Mr. Frodo, and it's worth fighting for."

That scene never fails to bring tears to my eyes no matter how many times I watch it. It has such a great message...

All the scenes mentioned make me tear up. They are heartbreaking.
And in the EE, the scene with Faramir in the river. I have the same kind of love for my sibling and it would break my heart to see him dead.

I am a total ice queen. I never cried during the movie, and I almost never cry during anything. Period.

Umm.... Okay... I've never met anyone who wishes they could cry, but whatever floats your boat, I suppose. So yes, I did not cry.

I really don't cry watching movies but sometimes my skins gets all tingling like I have goosebumps, but I'm not cold. I guess it's excitment rush.

I have never cried at one movie, in my life...Except at the end of the last Matrix, I felt like crying... But I kept my record. And my nickname.

I cry at just about anything if it has the right message and the right music in the background. Even commercials! I guess I am just a sucker for that stuff...
