Oww I saw that I forgot Samwise's speech in the end of TTT, it really makes me tearful...
Sam: 'It’s like in the great stories, Mr. Frodo. The ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger they were. And sometimes you didn’t want to know the end. Because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened. But in the end, it’s only a passing thing, this shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new day will come. And when the sun shines it will shine out the clearer. Those were the stories that stayed with you. That meant something. Even if you were too small to understand why. But I think, Mr. Frodo, I do understand. I know now. Folk in those stories had lots of chances of turning back only they didn’t. Because they were holding on to something.'
Frodo: 'What are we holding on to, Sam?'
Sam: 'That there’s some good in this world, Mr. Frodo. And it’s worth fighting for.'

When Haldir died and that music plays, it's so mournful and looking at the translation of the song, you wonder if it's what Haldir's thinking as he dies and when he sees all the dead elves around him...
HALDIR'S LAMENT:
Ar sindarnóriello caita mornië, Ar ilye tier unduláve lumbule...
(And out of a grey country darkness lies, And all paths are drowned deep in shadow...)
*cries for Haldir*

I'm really not one of these who cry just anywhere. But I was really touched by the scene where Sam and Frodo are in Osgiliath and Frodo says: I can't do this Sam. Sam: I know....it's all wrong....and then he tells about the adventures they liked as a child. Frodo finally says: "What should we hold on to?" Sam: There's some good in this world for which it is worth fighting for....

When Haldir died, a tiny tear rolled over my cheek. But mostly I had to cry because I laughed so hard with the scenes of Gimli. ;D

Definitely Haldir dying... and also when I saw the despair on the face of Theoden during the 'Horse and the Rider' speech. So sad...
