Well I also putted them into my mobile phone's kalendar (such as the birthdays of the cast and some of the crew membters). But I don't remember all my dates and I think I've posted why somewhere in this topic about the FOTR movie, I think the exact topic was something like what was the feeling watching FOTR for first time or something like that.

I found it, I found my Ringer story, here it is:
'I don't remember it was in the end of 2001 and I was watching FOTR on the DVD at home... I wasn't a ringer I didn't know anything about Middle-Earth and etc but the reason why I took it is a little stupid - well, I was a hp fan and I hated LOTR becase it took all the glory and awards from hp, but I'm a very curious person and in the end I decided to watch FOTR. Of course I didn't understand anything and I remembered only the mines in Moria but after a year I took TTT on DVD and then we may say that I started to understand LOTR. Then I wrote the character's names on one list (to not forget them)... a couple of weeks ago I found the list and throw it away because I'm sure I won't need any reminder now!! Generally I became an official LOTR fan (really crazy) when I watched ROTK for first time on January 31st 2004 - then I was shocked and then I took the movies on DVD, I read 'The Sillmarilion', then 'Unfinished Tales, then 'The Hobbit', then (finally) 'The Lord of The Rings', and then I bought all the books from 'History of Middle-Earth' and I've finished them a couple of weeks ago (I think it was January). But let's not forget the EEs - TTT EE - August 30th, 2004; ROTK EE - official premiere; FOTR EE - December 19th 2004.' -- 'FotR---the first time...how was it?'

Whoa! that's really similar to me. When I watched the first movie I didn't quite get what was going on. The Breaking of the Fellowship was all I really remembered. Even the Mirror of Galadriel scene didn't stick out back then and that's my fav! then I read a little of TTT before watching the The Two Towers and then a little while later I watched ROTK. I watched FOTR in April of last year and then I watched TTT and ROTK in the summer of last year. I didn't find out elves are immortal until after the movies but I had a hunch. Then i read the books and then the Hobbit and lastly the Silm, but not all of it.

Yes I know what it is - to be a 'late' fan (after the movies)... But I think I remebered 'Mirror of Galadriel' when I watched FOTR for first time, but I'm not sure because now I've watched FOTR so many times that it is impossible to remeber the first time when I watched it... But I'm almost sure that I memorized that scene espaciallly when Galadriel became 'evil' because it's hard to forget such thing. But after two years, a week before watching ROTK I watched FOTR again and I felt like I'm watching a new movie, that was strange!

Yeah. I've only watched FOTR once (can ya believe? ) I watched the first half at night and then the rest the next day. I jsut remembered bits and parts of it. Some characters I liked but I wasn't at the obsessive stage yet. I barely remembered Galadriel. Then one night the movie was coming on TV (this is after I watched all the moves once). My parents wouldn't let me wath, I forgot why, and well being me I stole away upstars and watched a small portion of it. It was the Mirror of Galadriel scene and that's it. I think that's why it's my fav and she's my fav character. After that I've one seen movie clips on the interent and in music videos. The other two I've also seen only once.

You wish you had watched them like me? You’re lucky to have all the DVD’s. But even if I did have them I probably wouldn’t get much time to see them. Don’t get me wrong, but I think when you like something you shouldn’t get all into it right away because if you slowly get things then it grows and a person doesn’t wear out. But I think for you, you will be obsessed forever! And me as well.

Sorry, Airen but I can't understand you, I mean I don't know very well what is the feeling to be without the DVDs, all I know is that now I can't live without them...

I meant I wish I could watch them as often as you but I don't even have them so I can't. And even if I did have them I still wouldn't get the time.

I haven't read the books yet, but it seems to me that when they are first captured, it is quite sunny and golden, but you switch to the night-scenes, which explains the darkness...
