What do you think was the best captured location by PJ.
I think Moria, and the Shire were captured good.

When it comes to the Fellowship. The Shire wins hands down. The work they all put into making that a real and believable place was awesome. A years preparation, to make it look lived in. And just an absolutely beautiful place.

[glow=purple,2,300] The most believable I thought was definately the Shire. It was beautiful and so idealic that you really got the sense of the place being real and lived in... and the simple innocence of the people there, you got why Frodo wanted to save it so dearly.
My favorite though were definately the Elven relms. Rivendell was just magnificent, Beautiful isn't even the right word for it, it was "beautificent". You also felt the sense of mournful decadent meloncholy... like this place, beautiful as it was, was in decline. There was such a sense of a museum like quality to it... and everything there was so graceful and elegant. That one was far and away my favorite.
... and Lothlorien was so dream-like and etherial... it was surreal but in a beautiful way. I liked how everything about the place had a soft blue glow about it... it seemed more heavenly or dream-like than real, but I think that was kind of the idea. At any rate I loved it also. [/glow]

I must say Lothlorien. I am so fascinated by that place, with all the star-like lights and the blueness And I also love Rivendell though, even though my absolute favourite is Lothlorien ;D

I didn't like Lorien as much as in the book. It was almost TOO ethereal. But still beautiful. I think the best captured location would have to be...Edoras. Or Minas Tirith...I'm not sure. They were all brlilliant.

In my opinion, it is a tie between the Shire and Rivendell...

I think that, in FOTR anyway, The Shire was the best by far. It was so homey and green and warm... exactly the place where you'd want to retire to. Rivendell was excellect too, but I always thought of it as a being little less "grand", in a way. Bilbo called it "The last homely house", but PJ's Rivendell looked more fragile than home-like. Still, it all depends on what a person originally imagined the location would look like, doesn't it?

Well I think they were all captured rather well. - Mordor-Dark and Gloomy
- Rivendell-Warm and Comfortable
- Shire-Simple and Home-like
- Lothlorien-Mystical...almost
- Gondor-Proud and Kingly
But you didn't ask for my report on all of them, lol So,the land that best in my opinion is Rohan. I mean...it was real, and they paid so much attention to the detail. Colors, banners, armor, buildings, all just perfect. The runner up would be Rivendell. (Then the Shire)

The Shire! The thing was acutally fully built and well sculptured. You have it give it at least that much credit. Most of the other scenes where just minitares or sets. Plus the Shire was done it this perfect light and everything!
