Which one would always win your vote - and give us the reason why...
I'd say White, because he seems to much cleaner that way, if you know what I mean. More fresh, and not so old...

For me it's Gandalf the Grey. He seems more sincere when he's Gandalf the Grey - like someone you could talk to and confide in. With Gandalf the White I think that there's something slightly intimidating about his power. Not that I don't like Gandalf the White, though

I wouldn't pick one or the other. Really, they're the same person, just... Gandalf the White got a raise, so he cut his hair, put on nicer clothes, and got a brand-new spankin' whopper of a staff. Not much difference.

Though, I do like Gandalf the White, I'll have to choose Gandalf the Grey.
After the battle with the Balrog, G the W seems a bit brainwashed...? G the G is a bit more loveable character.

What about the 2 blue wizards, whose names I cannot remember, and who we only hear of twice?

Gandalf the Grey- He is very easy going and funnier then. When he turns white he is more serious.

I couldn't choose... I can't choose. They are hte same, although one may have some favourites about them both ... Like Gandalf the White is cleaner and fresher and so ... I like that Gandalf the Grey sits calm and smoke his pipe..

I thought Gandalf underwent a bit a personality change when he became white. I found it incredibly noticable the first time I read the book. I'm not so much aware of it now. So I'd say Gandalf the Grey. I trust (?) him - more. He's the sort of character you immediately feel safe with. I think he has more character too. (I've come across a few characters in books I've "trusted" like that, but the main character hasn't. It's weird.)

I agree Herenya, Gandalf the White, seems like a totally new person, and you would feel more comfortable around Gandalf the Grey, because he is like an old friend.
