Just thought I'd hear everyones opinions! Just kinda bored I guess...
Well, actually, what I guess my question is: Who did something that mattered the most in the book/movie?

I said Faramir. If Faramir never found Frodo and Sam (and Gollum) they would never have gotten food, weapons, or any other type of help on their journey and could have failed.

I chose Frodo. Because he stopped Sam from killing Smeagol, (and several times after that, too) and without Smeagol's help, they would never've gotten to Mordor. Maybe not a very good reason, but oh well.

Without Aragorns tactic, Frodo and Sam would have less chance of finishing the task... In the movies ofcourse...in the book Frodo's the most important character.

I think TTT was mainly supposed to be about Aragorn and how he proves to all of the men that he is the king of Gondor. I think that those are the most important parts in the entire story. However, Frodo's role was also very important, but he didn't do too much except get to Mordor in the book. More seems to be happening w/ Aragorn in the book, so I chose him.

sam cause he is the only thing froda had that could help him on his trip... if he wasnt there at mount doom then he would have fallen in the lava!!! if he wasnt with him when the orcs got him when he got hit by shelob then he would have been alive after he was in the tower.. and so on.. he is just a really important person.. i would have picked aragorn but i picked sam...

Well, if Pippin hadn't thrown out his leaf of Lorien, then maybe his friends would've thought they were dead ...

But I wouldn't say, that Pippin is the most important character
