How many times did you cry in the RotK? I didn't cry any, but my parents cried 3 or 4 times.

I didn't cry myself, but the three people I was with never stopped . I've watched it three times with my mum since then and she still cries every time, mostly at Theoden's death

I almost cried when I saw King Theoden at his sons grave, but that doesn't count. I only had a small tear at the corner of my eye. During the entire LOTR trilogy I cried twice : Aragorn's coronation ( "My friends, you bow to no one.") and Grey Havens. Those scenes - especially the latter - had me crying buckets. I usually don't cry over a movie (not even Titanic!) but the last 15 minutes of RotK had me bawling like a baby. I didn't expect that to happen and neither did my best friend. By the time the movie was over, I was still crying and my friend was getting annoyed at me. "Get a grip woman, for gods sake, get a grip!" Yeah, there goes my reputation....

Well, after the "Go Home" scene with Frodo and Sam, I just couldn't stop crying. So I can't really count how many times I cried, But I did cry a lot!

I cried when Frodo told Sam to go home, when Denethor wished Faramir had died instead of Boromir, when Frodo and Sam are at Mt.Doom and Sam talks about the Shire and Rosie, and I cried when Frodo left for the undying lands at the Grey Havens.

Hmm...how many times did I cry? The first time was at Sam's 'Strawberry Speech', buckets of tears at the Grey Havens , when 'The End' appeared on the screen, and through the end credits, thanks to those beautiful sketches. So, about four times. Thankfully, I can get through the film without crying now.

Hmm, I'm not really sure. As far as I can remember, the only scene I seriously bawled at was The Grey Havens. But many other scenes I got teary-eyed at. However, that only happens when I watch by myself...I can't cry in front of others.

With the first one, I cried and it was half because of rage because the book Frodo would never never NEVER have said such a thing.

I actually cried more the second time I watched it than the first, probably because the second time round I was by myself, not with others.
