Pelennor. I really didn't like Helm's Deep in the movies. It was the climax, but since I'm not really a battle person, it was an anti-climax I think that The Pelennor is less drawn out to fill the length of the film, which is the feeling that I get from Helm's Deep...

Pellenor for me too. As much as I love Helms Deep, that get's my vote.
The charge of the Rohirrim, Theodens speech before the charge, the Mumaks. Everything about it wasjust brilliant to watch.

I do prefer Pelennor Fields to Helms Deep. It might have something to do with the time of day- Helms Deep was dark and rainy, Pelennor when it was lighter. But of course I also love the Rohirrim. The horse charge was *awesome*. I can just watch it over and over.

I like Pelennor fields. It just feels like that was their only hope. I mean it all came down to that, (and the black gate, oh and of course the ring!) ) But I like Helm's deep, but Pelennor had more emotion

Pelennor. Everything about it was so moving. The Ride of the Rohirrim is my favourite scene from a film ever. When I hear Theoden's speech and them all shouting Deeeeeaaaaattttthhhh!!!! I just get tingles in my neck and the hairs on my arms stand on end. Brilliant.

I'm not really the kind of person who likes battle scenes, but i actually really liked the battle at Pelennor Fields!! I dunno what exactly what it was...Theodens speech, watching the Rohirrim charge, the Oliphants, The Army of the Dead, the fell beasts picking people up and dropping them, the trolls (yes i actually find them cute)everything is just[glow=red,2,300]awesome!![/glow]

HELM'S DEEP ALL THE WAY!!!!! I just love Helm's Deep. But the Black gate is my all-time fave. The only good part about P.F. is the charge of the Rohirrim. The ending isn't as good as Helm's Depp's.

Another reason I love Pelennor Fields is, of course, *clears throat* I am no man!!! Woo! Go Eowyn!!!

I used to like that in the film, but of late I've started to really dislike it because of how good it is in the book. Nothing against Miranda or anything (she played Eowyn beautifully) but I don't think that it captivates the strength that flows through Eowyn in that part as it does in the book

And I have heard people who haven't read the book describe it as a cliché, but I certainly didn't think that in the book. It's still a cool part though.
