I just wondered: Was I the only one who noticed that Rammas Echor was not in the film? I mean, it should have been, since it was one of the most important defences of Minas Tirith (Allthough it didn't exactly stop the enemy....).

I think it really should have been there, as it was one of the essential defences of Minas Tirith....

What is that, exactly? I have read the books, but I can't remember what that was. But if it was outside the lowest wall of Minis Tirith, yes, I did notice that it wasn't there.

It was a great wall surrounding the fields of Pelennor. It stretched from the White Mountains north of the city to the south of it, and stretched like a giant circle to the Anduin river, just outside Osgiliath.

maybe it will be in the extended edition? oh, i doubt it. it seems like it would be the kind of thing the movie would leave out.

*mutters about stupid directors messing things up* *mutters along with* I din't notice, but I have only seen the movie twice, so I am not to the stage where I notice the more subtle mistakes yet. That is really bad, though! It is one of the bigger defences of Gondor, and in the movie all they seem to have is Osgiliath, you are right! Grrrrrrrrr.......

Yes! I read the books again and suddenly realized that it was missing! *sigh* Oh well. Ringers can't be choosers.
