I seem to remember a site like that and if it's the one i'm thinking of the list is a joke and really making fun of the reasons people give for not liking LOTR, however it might be a different site.

I actually think that it is two different reasons why someone might have made a site like that: 1) They really hate LotR 2) They really love LotR, but have a weird sense of humour.
And, on another note, this is FAVOURITE sites, not "Sites we hate". Yup.

I think this is just someone trying to be funny, because this is just absolutely rediculous. When they start saying: Gollum was stolen from Jar Jar Binks Gandalf was stolen from Dumbledore "traveling on our quest thru a cornfield" = Shrek Hobbits = "Willow" and "The incident with the flock of evil magical spying crows serving the All-Seeing Eye was based on an actual incident."
You know that this person in just joking because (I REALLY HOPE!) no one is that ignorant and stupid and idiotic.

Ok i just read some more stuff on this site, such as "battle of the trilogys" where some one "debates" whether LOTR, Star Wars, or the Matrix is the best trilogy, and I have decided that it is for sure all a joke because it is just ludicris (or however u spell that!)

Stupid idiot thats who it was that made that site, if they didn't like lotr then why do they know so much about it? No one insults LOTR and gets away with it!! Who agrees?) btw he/she obviously likes star wars or hp and doesn't want lotr to take over being the best!! But still LOTR is the best ever and always will be! ;D

These people who have no imagination and are limited in what they belive could happem. Most of the things they are saying are things like "Gandalf's smoke boat at Bilbo's party is pretty impressive, but smoke cannot be made to travel horizontally, thus revealing it to be nothing but a cheap special effect." or "The ring, which is seen to be at least two inches in diameter at the beginning to fit the polish sausage-sized finger of Sauron, suddenly fits Frodo's child-sized finger later. I guess this movie takes place in a world where rings magically change sizes on their own. "well if they had really watched the movie they would have seen that the ring did in fact shrink. They oviously have a limited mind
