To Know Who and What Gilraen Looks Like/Is Then Look Her Up In The 'Introduce Your RPG Character' Thread THIS RPG IS AFTER THE WAR OF THE RING. Everyone Is Welcomed To Join ;D) Gilraen rode silently into Rivendell, atop her white mare Androth. She gazed around and had her bow in hand, prepared to fight anything that would attack her. She was wearing her archer's clothing, with her tatoo on her wrist showing. She sighed and rode on, letting the forest that lead into Rivendell calm her...She was on her way to speak with Lord Elrond, to tell him of the news of her family and kingdom.

Silmeriel peered down from her position in the trees at the newcomer to Rivendell. She jumped down in front of the girl, bow drawn. "Who are you and why come you here?" she demanded.

Kiara walked slowly out of a building. The sun gleamed down throwing slanted rays into the toumling water. bird and elves sang in unison, and there was no better place in the world than Rivendell. but still she did not feel at home here.
she walked out onto the lawn her long cloak swinging and brushing the dew laden grass. her black travelers clothes stood out against the merry colours of the Rivandell elves.
sighing she continued walking until she saw a stranger. the mounted girl was already being interogated by an elf from here, but Kiara went to have a look anyway.

Gilraen held up her hands,
"I was summoned her by Lord Elrond, to tell him of my father, King Aron's death...I am King Aron's daughter Gilraen. I mean no harm."
Androth lifted her hoofs nervously.

Silmeriel nodded. "Then come with me- Gilraen, is it? I am Silmeriel. Lord Elrond will be pleased indeed to see you."

Corwin sat playing his lute upon one of the many terraces of Rivindell. His melody was heartbreaking, he sang of innocents and love, of war and warriors. Finally he set the instrument down and came into the hall. He moved to the doorway that looked out over the entrance. Several elves were moving down toward him. He smiled a mysterious smile.

Gilraen nodded and followed the other she-elf. She herself was nervous to speak with Lord Elrond, for she hadn't seen him since she was a child.
As they walked through the forest, Gilraen hoped to find love in Rivendell and friends.

Silmeriel meant to take Gilraen straight to Lord Elrond, but the sight of one she had known made her stop. "Corwin?" she whispered, disbelieving.

((i'll join rping my character Isteleth as per usual))
Isteleth sat in her grandfathers study, he was making her read up about the history of middle earth for the umtineth time, she sighed and looked up and out of the window, she spotted a newcomer on a horse someone she had never seen before, she sat and watched as Silmariel her oldest friend jumped down and started to talk to the elf. "Isty!" her grandfather called, Isteleth looked over at Elrond then bent her head back down over the book and began to read about the Numenor line, her long brown hair fell over her face and the Evenstar slipped out and began to sparkle in the sun. Isteleth sat reading the same line over and over again before her curiosity overcame her again, who was that new comer that had arrived, she quickly lifted her head and stole a glance outside but they had already left, instead she spotted Eruonen, she grinned but felt her grandfathers eyes boring into her and quickly bgant to read again her thoughts now on Eruonen.

Corwin smiled. "It has been many years." He walked down the steps and embraced Silmerial. " I finally found my peace." He whispered.

Silmeriel held him tightly. "It took you long enough!" she laughed through her tears. "I'm glad you found your peace." She whispered. Even if I'm still searching for mine. she thought.

He sensed the trouble within her. His smiled slipped, but he held onto it. He turned to the others. " I am Corwin." He looked and Arva and smiled again. " Arva and myself have a long history together." He said turning back.

((Gilraen Isilra, unless I missed it, you have not yet mentioned why Gilraen has been summoned by Lord Elrond...))
In a slightly dark room, illuminated by a white light streaming through the designed splits in the ceiling above, four Elves spoke quietly, their hushed voices barely audible had one been listening. They stood close, but with enough distance in between for comfort, and their faces told of the serious issue of which they spoke.
“There is no guarantee it will work - many are weak, and some doubt others’ strength. It is unsteady, but we must do our best.” Lord Elrond said, his eyes searching the others’ faces intently. The other three Elves were silent for some time after he had stopped speaking, and Caladrien was hesitant to break the silence, but she did, nonetheless. “My lord, you have sent for King Aron’s daughter? Gilraen is her name, is it not?” She said, and though her status was superior to most Elves under Elrond, her demeanor humble and serving. Caladrien was not an Elfess from Rivendell, which would be obvious to who knows much about Evles. Her ebony hair shone with an unearthly hue, and her pale skin contrasted against it beautifully, along with her bright green eyes. High cheekbones and pointed ears, a tall, lean build, she was Elven all over. The aura around her spoke of her wisdom and authority, but this she never flaunted around. It was simply there, all around her, whether she bid it to leave or not.
“Yes; Gilraen. She should already be on her way to meet us.” The Lord Elf replied. “Then this at least, is settled. Once in quicksand, one has a very slim chance of escaping.” Caladrien looked at the others with somewhat of a pleased expression, “This, my friends, you can be sure to know, has a very slim chance, if any, of coming loose.” She met Lord Elrond’s gaze and said strongly, “I have faith in this one.”[/color]
