I'd like to start a new RPG if nobody minds, this one is set just after the coronation. Gondor has its King, (and if we follow the movie) the King has his Lady. My bio is in the New Character forum, but to be short, I'm an Elf at the Coronation. Anyone can jump in, post a quick bio, and we'll go from there. Plotwise, feel free to make suggestions.

(Feel free to jump in, anybody!)
I breathed in the clean breeze that tousled my hair. The joy of this day was mingled with peace long withheld from us who dwell East of the Sea. I bowed my head, thinking of all those who had departed. How long would I stay, now that our age was over? The age of Elves was fading, day by day, it seemed.
I had just discovered how to live. I had broken free of the stagnant shadow that held me captive, I had learned to ride and fight. But I did not know what to live for. The last of the iron bands were broken off my lungs. I felt a longing for my homeland. The woods of Lothlórien would never be the same, I could feel that the Lady Galadriel would leave soon.
I felt curious eyes behind me, and turned a little. A slip of a Gondorian child gazed up at me with wide grey eyes. I smiled gently at her, and she smiled back at me. "Elves are pretty, mama," she said confidingly to the tall woman who held her hand. Her mother looked at me with an apologetic smile, and led her child away.
I picked up my skirts, palest orange velvet, and walked up to the White Tree, now in bloom. It was beautiful, like hope. Estel.
Nearby, as the crowds thinned away, fellow Elves were conversing. A golden-haired one was speaking:
"Ithilien has need of us. This forest of Men has long suffered under the shadow of Sauron. If you will come with me, Mirkwood brethren, we may live in peace, in healing, in giving life... if only for a little while."
"But what will our lord say?" asked another light-haired Elf. "And does there not yet dwell evil in Ithilien?"
"Only those who have fled from the Captains of the West. The Lord Thranduil will spare of a little of his people, if they so wish." He looked over his audience with gentle pleading. "Where will we go now, that our time is ending? Not all of us are willing to cross the Sea. Shall we return to barren halls, where all is changing? Or will we go... will we go where there is need?" His voice grew stronger. "Who will come?"

((my bio is in the charry section..i will rp as Elenanna Lothenedhel, the child of Galadriel and Celeborn))
Elenanna Lothenedhel walked silently after her nephew-in-law. She, Legolas, Gimili, and Elessar were conversing about the plans. Her nephew from Mirkwood was putting in his opinions. Elessar looked at Elenanna and said, "You have been quiet lately. Ever since you arrived in Minas Tirith, you have barely spoken, Elenanna."
She looked at him and said, "I am sorry, Elessar. I have been musing over the things that have happened." He nodded and said, "You're excused, Lady Lothenedhel." She nodded and bowed her head and walked out of the citadel. She sighed as she looked over the city of Minas Tirith. The city was in the process of being rebuilt, and would soon be in its old glory.
Her face took on an unreadable expression as she pondered over her time during the War of the Ring. The reason of her silence was a mystery. She had been interrogerated soon after being rescued, but for some reason that even she could not figure out, she couldn't tell all that had happened. Her silver eyes shone in the sunlight.
She straightened up and whistled for her mare, who roamed among the levels of Minas Tirith. Shadowpax, the daughter of Shadowfax, and the Lady of the Mearas, trotted up to her. She patted the mare's shoulders and said, "Bear me to the city of Osligath." The Meara nickered and Elenanna mounted her. Shadowpax took off, the speed of her parents showing.

"I will come, Thranduilion," one Elf spoke. "It is true that I have no desire to cross the Sea, not yet."
"And I!" chorused many others.
I made my way over to them. "I will come," I said, a little timidly. Many eyes turned to me.
"And who are you?" asked Legolas kindly, bowing his head slightly, in greeting.
"I am called Idril... and though I am not of Mirkwood origins, will you accept a stranger from Lórien?"
"Our kin by the Anduin are welcome, and welcome you are, Lady Idril."

Elenanna smiled as she heard her nephew. She slowed down the mare, and made her way to Legolas.

((Jumpin' in if that's okay))
Bio (short)
Name: Corwin Race: Maia (Wanderer, befrit of powers) Age: Unknown Description: 10 years ago he enlisted in the Gondor army. Steadily he rose through the ranks, showing great skill with weaponry. He arose to the ranks of the Tower Guard 4 years ago and is now a senior soldier. He has sandy blonde hair and grey eyes. He wears the Tower Guard armor and a winged helm. He has a plain sword belted at his side and a spear in his hand.
Corwin stood at attention alongside Lord Aragorn. He sensed no danger and was at ease. His attention wandered and he recalled the events that led to the destruction of Sauron. Truly this is a day of celebration. His smile slipped from his face as he saw a group of elves speaking down the stairs. "Were shall we go now? Not all of us are willing to leave middle earth." One said loudly. Corwin thought upon the subject. What will happen to those who stay? He shook his head. He knew this day would come. I cannot abandon the Eldar He turned to Lord Aragorn. "My king. May I have a moment." He asked politely. Aragorn turned and looked into his grey eyes. "Yes?" Corwin stared back. A king among men. "My lord, I have served Gondor for many years. I have seen friends die and heros born." He looked over to where the elves where standing. " But I have a another responsibility as well." Aragorn followed his gaze. Then he turned back to Corwin. " What do you mean?" He questioned. "What if I were to tell you I am not of the Edain?" Corwin's eyes were trusting. He knew Aragorn to be a faithful elf-friend. Lord Aragorn looked at him. Corwin felt as if he was looking into his very soul. The old powers of Numeneor are reborn within this man before me. After a time Aragorn's eyes widened and he smiled. " If I knew such as you still dwelt upon this earth... I honor you." He did not bow, but his eyes were respectful. Corwin laughed quietly. "I am not the king here, Lord Aragorn." He paused. "I but wish to help the Eldar who still linger." Aragorn nodded. "It is a pity to lose one such as you." He smiled. " Very well. I release you from your service to the king. Take the equipment you wear as a gift from me." Corwin smiled broadly. "I will treasure it my lord." He bowed. "And thank you." Aragorn smiled and turned back to his friends and servants. Corwin shifted the heavy shoulder plates and walked down to the place were the Eldar stood. "I will help you!" He said, lightly pushing his way through the crowd.

Silmeriel stepped through the crowd, hooded and cloaked. "I, too, will go with you, though none shall know me save when the time comes." she said. "For my name is my own, all that I am. But some call me Light-Bearer."

Legolas smiled. "Together we will make Ithilien beautiful again, as it once was."
I bowed my head and smiled at the others. "I offer my services as a healer of the earth."
