Silmeriel slowly leaned over the mirror. She saw her own frightened face, then images flashed. She saw her sister, Luvariel, singing sweetly to a baby in her arms. Luvariel looked up from inside the mirror and saw Silmeriel. Silmeriel began to cry. Luvariel smiled up at her. "I am safe, my sister. Do not weep for me. Do not feel guilty. You are not responsible for losing me. Yes, losing me- but not to death. Find me where your heart lies, bound to your love with a lily-white tie." Silmeriel turned away from the mirror, weeping with joy. "My sister lives, Golweneth! I know not where, or how, but I have not lost her!" Silmeriel collapsed on the ground, too grateful to do anything but cry. She slowly gathered herself and began to sing. Her song was one of joy and peace and hope, exultation that the one person who truly understood her was still alive.

Linwe opened her eyes. It was still dark out. She saw many dark figures of her sleeping friends around her. Astalddo stirred. "Go back to sleep." Linwe murmured, rubbing her forehead. Astaldo blew on Linwe's face and settled back down.

Golweneth smiled at Silmeriel. She was happy for Simeriel for she also knew the grief that comes with losing a sister. As Simeriel started singing, Golweneth stepped up to the mirror. Galadriel looked her in the eyes and said to her telepathically, "My great-grandaughter, you have looked into this mirror before. Do not be afraid. None can say what you will see, but I sense that the time draws near. The prophecy of you and your sisters that I saw at your birth will soon come to pass." She closed her eyes and Golweneth gazed into the mirror. Golweneth saw her images fading in and out of her father and mother. Then her sisters when they were younger. Medlieth came into view and sorrow came into Golweneth's eyes as she saw Medlieth being stabbed by a dagger and then dying in Golweneth's arms. She wanted to look away but she couldn't. A new image appeared. A group traveling to Imladris led by Golweneth and then the same dagger stained with red blood. In Imladris she saw her younger sister, Hiranneth, who was terribly ill and looked worse from the last time Golweneth saw her. The last few images were of pain, torture, and sorrow, yet also of honor, valor, glory, and victory. What these images meant Golweneth did not know. She saw the ring she always wore which represented the four daughters of Elladan. In the ring she saw the four elements the daughters could control: a roaring fire, strong winds, and great rushes of water. But the element of earth was at peace and full of grace. This was the element that Medlieth use to control. Golweneth's element was fire. Then the images faded in a blaze of fire and in her head Golweneth heard a woman shouting something, but it was hard to make out. Everything went black. Galadriel looked at her. "Golweneth, you and your sisters were given gifts at your birth to aid the free peoples of this world. Use your gifts and let go of your grief. Medlieth made a sacrifice that should not go to waste; she saved you. Remember that everything in life and in death has a purpose. Fulfill the prophecy. Go to Imladris and there you will find answers and guidence. It may be that along the way there you will also find things that will aid you or hurt you. Learn from these things with grace." Golweneth was silent and had many thoughts penetrating her mind. But the Lady of Light read her thoughts. "You are weary, Golweneth," she said. "Put your mind at ease and let the past go. It is time for you to shine and show how much strength and valor you have running through her veins. You are capable of more than you know." "What strength and valor I have comes from you, great-grandmother," replied Golweneth. She hugged her great-grandmother. Galadriel whispered, "Take counsil with your sister, Eitheleth, the Maiden of Water, before you leave. She will help you." Golweneth nodded and started to walk away. She needed rest. She headed back to her bed as thoughts meandered restlessly in her mind. It was hard to let go of what she saw, but maybe her sister, the Maiden of Water would give her some answers.

An elf man walked past the place where Linwe and Synariel lay sleeping. He stopped for a moment for the face of Synariel had captured his gaze. Then swiftly he leaped across the land and climbed the stairs up to the top of a tree where his sister and wife were together talking.
"...It has been fulfilled," he said "she has come. The great-granddaughter of Morinen." The maidens stood up, expressions of astonishment spread clearly across their faces. "Come and see," he said taking the hand of his wife and and walking back down the tree. He led them both to the place where Synariel slept. "My vision was true." he exclaimed. "Yes," his sister said. "It seems that more and more of our people are having visions...as our time draws to it's end." "She bears Morinen's countenance." said the elf's wife with a smile. She released her husband's hand and walked up to Synariel with no sound that man or elf could hear and knelt at her side. She whispered something in elvish then slipped a old book into Synariels bag, before going back to her tree home with her husband and sister in law.

((Um, Synariel, I'd like to point out something to you. My character, Golweneth, is the one in this RP that has a destiny to fulfill; it's in her bio. Please don't take this away from my character by having your character have a great destiny in this RP as well. I'd appreciate that. And as you once vividly pointed out to me, "Don't play other people's characters! It's against the rules!" Thanks.)) First off, I was not playing anyone's character! The elves that I mentioned in my post were just elves. They weren't you or Silmeriel or anyone of you guy's's characters. Secondly, this is Silmeriels RP, she is the one with the destiny to fulfill here. And also I'm not the type of inconsiderate person to take over someone else's RPG by making my own character the "star." I have my own RP threads for my own characters. The improtant bit about my character I put into this thread is just a little BIT. My character began her travels im Middle Earth and is on her way to Rivendell, and on her way there PARTS of her own destiny are revealed. Like I said I'm fully aware that this isn't my RP thread, and I'm not planning on stealing anyone's glory here. ALL I was doing was just making a little mention of my own character's destiny. I wasn't planning on carying it on throughout the thread. And I don't know what makes you think that you can just come out into somone else's RP and make your character any more important than Linwe's, Lady Elenanna's or Lindelwen's or mine, it's not right and it's not fair to our characters. So please don't accuse me of being jerky. Sorry Silmeriel. I was NOT trying to steal anything from you or anyone else's character. Like I said, I was just making a little mention about my own character's destiny. I was NOT going to carry it on.

(no problem at all, Synariel lets keep playing the story) Silmeriel walked over to her sleeping mat, suddenly exhausted. She fell asleep instantly and dreamed of beautiful things.

Linwe felt someone or something walk past her. She opened her eyes. She did not see anyone there. Maybe she just imagined it. She closed her eyes and went back to sleep.

((My apologies if I've offended anyone, it was not my intent.)) Golweneth slept well and awoke early the next morning. Again, she found herself looking at the golden elanor flowers, pondering her thoughts.

The orangfe sun rose quickly and peered through the treetops onto Synariel face, waking her. From the look of the shade, the sun had taken it's time getting to her and the morning was passed already a fair amount.
She stood up rushing her hair away from her face and looking around for her other companions. "We need to go."

Silmeriel had been watching Synariel sleep. She dropped down out of the tree, startling Synariel. "Of course we do, sleepyhead. But come one, the Lady Galadriel said she had something for us- and not just lembas."

"Lembas?" Synariel said, making a face as she followed Silmeriel. Despite all her previous encounters with elves she hadn't yet of the filling weybread.

Linwe felt the warmth of the sun. She opened her eyes to see it lighting up the surroundings. She yawned and stretched. Now it was time to wake up.

"Yes. It's quite good- sweet, and faintly lemony. We'd best hurry, the others are waiting. We thought you might need to sleep- it'll be a hard journey. But I think you'll like what the Lady of the Mirror has for you." Silmeriel said, as they began to jog. They came upon the others at the shore of the river, just as Lady Galadriel came down the river in her swan-boat. The Lady turned to Golweneth (after all, they were related) first. ((Golweneth, choose what gift she gives you and then say who she turns to next. Person who Golweneth picks, do the same thing, until everybody's recieved a gift.))
