-No role-playing another person's character without that person's permission -No crazy cross-races (i.e. Half-Hobbit/Half-Elf, Half-Dwarf/Half-Elf, Half-Orc/Half-(Hobbit/Dwarf/Elf), etc.). Half-Human/Half-Elf and Half-Orc/Half-Human are allowed (although try to keep half-elves to a minimum!) since they were invented by Tolkien. -Stay true to Tolkien's world (i.e. you can't journey from the Grey Havens to Khand in a day/week) -No über-powerful characters (be realistic...in that aspect at least) -No non-LotR RPG. This belongs in the (duh) non-LotR RPG sub-forum. -No relatives of original Tolkien characters unless you're absolutely sure you know the genealogy of a character and Tolkien never specified names or histories (for example, Aragorn and Arwen had several unnamed daughters: these are possible RPG characters if they fit in the timeline) -No lovers/girlfriends/wives of Legolas. (I added this because I was given permission to)
Rules are by Tulcakelume, Arwen the webmaster, and Silmarwen Inglorion. Remember that the #1 rule is be decent to each other! Thanks for taking the time to read this, and enjoy RPing!

Also, if you start an RPG, keep up with it, or at least notify others involved if you are unable to continue. Thank you!
