Hey! I wanted to start a game but couldn't decide one to make up. So...here we go...you post the next topic with a sentence. And we're trying to do all three LotR film scripts. If anyone makes a mistake- you can correct them! When we reach the next film if it's you that has to post it just write in big block capitals..THE TWO TOWERS or THE RETURN OF THE KING. You are allowed a sentance each, and eventually we'll have done all three films! Make sure you're sure about your sentence before you post it and this will be a really good game so.....I dont know the elvish at the beggining of FoTR so I'll start in english...here we go!........
The world is changed.

I feel it in the Earth.
~~~I think this is a better idea than posting a whole section at a time, like in another forum I used to be a member of. One sentence gives everyone a chance to say something. Nice going, hattielotraries!~~~
****Is this for the EE version?****
"Much that once was is lost. For none now live who remember it." ~Galadriel (So we're literally posting line by line? IMHO I think it'd be easier to post all the lines from one character and then the next person post next character's lines, so it'll be like a dialogue.... and don't worry it'll still take a fair amount of time to get through the movies!! Other than that, great game! )
Hey! I think thats a good idea to do each characters lines so- shall we start again- because theres one unlucky person whos got all Galadriels speech on their hands! Im not starting- I have it written down somewhere but I do not want to put my hands through that much pain of typing it all- ill leave it to some unlucky person. So lets do it like this eg. GANDLAF: So do all who live to see such times, but that is not for them to decide. All you have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to you. ......e.t.c- You get the picture. So the next person can start again and we can begin our game!!! Hattie. x Morrigan: No, im not sure about the EE version because some people may not have it and not remember it, but good idea anyway! Sorry!
Ohh, Hattie, we can just take it from here... we really haven't got that far yet! But if you want Galadriels prologue... *points happily to own signature* I'll be happy to write it out: Galadriel [V.O]: "I amar prestar aen Han mathon ne nen Han mathon ne chae A han noston ned 'wilith Much that once was is lost. For none now live who remember it." PS. Thanks for not doing the EE's, I haven't seen them yet
I haven't even seen the theater version of FotR. Got into LotR too late I didn't even bother. Sorry if I do go into an extended part. Just point it out to me then skip back to the orginal, i guess. Galadriel (VO): It began with the forging of the great rings. Three were given to the elves. Immortal, wisest, and fairest of all creature. Seven to the dwarf lords. Great miners and craftsmen of the mountain halls. And nine, nine rings were given to the race of men, who above all else desire power. For within these rings were bound the strenght and will to govern each race. But they were all of the them deceived, for another rings was made. In the land of Mordor, in the fires of Mount Doom, the Dark Lord Sauron forged in secret a master rings to control all others. And into this rings he poored his cruelity, his malice, and his will to dominate all life. One Ring to Rule Them All. One by one, the free lands of Middle-earth fell to the power of the Rings. But there were some who resisted. A last alliance of men and elves marched against the armies of Mordor. And on the slopes of Mount Doom, they fought for the freedom of Middle-earth.Does anyone want to write down the bit Elrond says in elvish after this?
Then I'll go back into the speech! (I've already got the whole thing typed out and saved onto my computer, lol. Boredom is a wonderful thing. ) Galadriel (VO): Victory was near. But the power of the Ring could not be undone. It was in this moment, when all hope had faded, that Isildur son of the king took up his father's sword. Sauron, the Enemy of the free peoples of Middle-earth, was defeated. The Ring passed on to Isildur, who had this one chance to destroy evil forever. But the hearts of men are easily corrupted. And the Ring of Power has a will of its own. It betrayed Isildur, to his death. History passed into legend. Legend into myth. And for two and a half thousand the Ring faded out of all knowlege. Until, when chance came, it ensnare a new bearer. The Ring came to the creature Gollum, who took it deep into the caves of the Misty Mountains. And there it consumed him.Gollum........
Opps, sorry. Forgot that paryt. Well, I guess going on: Galadriel (VO): Darkess crept back into the forests fo the world. Rumors grew of a shadow in the east, whispers of a nameless fear. And the Ring of Power percieved its time had now come. It abandoned Gollum. But something happened then, the Ring did not intended. It was picked up by the most unlikely creature immaginable.
