NO LEGOLAS IN THE HOBBIT! I don't mind little Aragorn though. I think it would be adorable if there was a cameo appearnce and this is how I would envision it:
Elronds sitting with the hobbits and Aragorn runs into the room. Elrond hugs him and acts all fatherlythen tells him to scoot. Then maybe Arwen steps in...
Great topic Elaner! I was thinking of that too.

I think it would be interesting to have a little Aragorn in the Hobbit. I don't think he would have any lines, but run past the dwarves as they're entering Rivendell, or a glance at him learning sword fighting or archery. Or they could put him in a bigger scene with maybe a line or so in an extended edition or something. As for Legolas, he could be there standing in the background or something . Though I really don't think they would drag Orlando down to New Zealand for that! About Arwen and etc.: I would like them to stay to the book, but they probably will add her and some other random girl in (though I have no idea who there is to add ). They're trying to make the movie good for everyone so that everyone will see it, not just Tolkien geeks.(unfortunately everyone isn't a Tolkien geek ) They are trying to make some money, after all.

I think that they should stay close to the book as possible, but I do kinda like the idea of seeing little aragorn in The Hobbit. Probably, just a little scene with him in it. About the Legolas idea though.......I would say no.

Aragorn: They should show him at rivendell but only passing by or something. Arwen: They might show her. But was she in Lothlorien at the time? I'm not sure. Legolas: yes they should show him because he is the son of the king. He should just stand in the background behind his father or something. He shouldn't say anything because he didn't say anything in the book. But he really should be in there because he was defiently alive at the time and there.

Yeah i was wonderinf if Arwen would have been in Lorien at the time. And maybe they could put Legolas in a the Battle of Five Armies. He might've been rallying the troops or something. As for putting Arwen or any female character in...I think absolutely not. But they will, or some other female character, because nowadays they think films need a 'strong' female prescence. And I wouldn't be surprised if they manage to fit in some sort of love story crap. They might even make Bard a female, or replace him with Arwen I beg PJ, please don't ruin it for me. *shuts up*

Yeah they should show him the Battle of Five Armies. And I hope they stay to the storyline as well.

Aragorn would have to be young because he was a kid at the time. And Legolas should be in the background of most of the Mirkwood scenes not speaking. And Arwen...I need to figure out were she was at the time.
