Ok, so if I'm wrong, sorry! But, according to my present knowledge, Boromir, though he dies in FotR, appears in all 3 movies during a flashback! Is this freaky or what?

well i suppose they're just trying to give boromir honor and keep him "in" the fellowship--it's like, faramir is introduced and then his brother is forgotten--it's not supposed to be like that, boromir is still in the minds of the fellowship members...

All the Boromir-scenes in "TTT" and "ROTK" are flashbacks, I guess, to show the relationship to his father, Denethor and his brother, Boromir. He does not appear in the cinema-versions, but only in the SEE, and so I think it is for better understanding of his intentions and his thoughts. I love these scenes, especially the scene "sons of the steward". The scene "the wizard's pupil" only shows that Denethor still mostly loves his dead son Boromir and that he wishes that their places had been exchanged and that Boromir had lived. That is for better understanding how Denethor treats Faramir.

i don't think it's wierd - but it's not really fair if they cut him out of all the movies!

Well, I like these Boromir moments and after all PJ had to pay to Sean for something, isn't that right??

I like flashbacks. Flashbacks are cool! Anyway, yes, I think it's to show that Boromir is still in people's minds and he doesn't just disappear after FOTR, he's not forgotten.

Although he was such a fool, he was still utterly kind to Boromir and a good person. Its sad how a ring can corrupt a person. And even after the assault, he was so sorry. I felt so bad for him.
