Has anyone seen any of PJ's non-LotR films? I've just watched Braindead and it is one of the funniest, goriest films I have ever seen He made a great job of it... anyone else like any non-LotR PJ films?

I also saw Heavenly Creatures, and I loved the story, it was so weird, but still good to watch. The look of the film was great also. And yes, Kate Winslet was really good in it too.

I've seen Brain Dead, Bad Taste, The Frighteners, Meet the Feebles and Heavenly Creatures. Brain Dead and Bad Taste are two of the funniest most original movies I've ever seen. Not for people that don't like gore though.

Not for people that don't like gore though. I didn't actually find Braindead that bad on the gore side... my friend who I borrowed it from had said it was very gory and I guess I was a little disappointed as I was expecting more... I really don't see why they cut out the stuff for "Dead Alive" though, because I didn't actually think any of it was that bad... maybe the zombies on the shovel/spade thing was slightly understandable, though, even though it was side-splittingly funny!

Brain Dead and Bad Taste are pretty much similar in style content and humour. Meet the Feebles is...undescribable here. It's PJs version of the Muppets. But more adult shall we say.
LOL The lawnmower scene always has me in tears laughing.

I watched The Frighteners the other day, too ;D I'm quite proud to say that my friend and I have done a great job of turning each other into rather big fans of Peter Jackson ;D although he's not obsessed with Lord of the Rings... yet
