i agree. i think a lot of people think it's the worst one just because it's in the middle and has no real conclusion, but i really like it. although i do think helm's deep was a little too drawn out in the movie, my favourite part is when gandalf and eomer ride down the hill with the riders of rohan. with the music and lighting, it's really moving!

I try to look at the movies as I do the book. Not as three seperate entities. But as one awesome piece of fantasy and creative genius. But...in saying that. I have to say that I love both the movie and book version of Two Towers. Call me obsessed with Rohan and the culture if you want too. I won't disagree

[glow=purple,2,300] Personally I didn't care for the two towers as much as I did the others. Mostly because it was the MIDDLE piece to the trillogy, but also because the whole movie was too dark, wet and dank.
Fellowship was my favorite (there was alot of bright and warm moments in it... beauty to offset the dreary), and Return of the King was a very close second (again it has alot of beauty to go with all the violence and high drama)... I LOVED the two towers, don't get me wrong... but of the three I liked it the least. [/glow]

No, you're right. It's not about what's worst. The movies has different content, and has to be viewed from that. It all depends on what mood you're in, when you want to watch one.

No. I don't necessarily think any of them are "the worst".

I think worst is the wrong word to use, maybe least good if that makes sense lol. I always think whichever one I'm watching at the time is the best, i don't really have a favourite. I love Fellowship because it's alot more innocent than the others, and it starts the story, i love Return because it's phenomenal, is the most moving of the three (not least because it's the last one *sob* and has a huge climax and i love Towers because, because it has elements of the other two: it has a battle scene that doesn't spoil you for Pelannor Fields and it introduces my favourite character and my favourite country of Men ie Rohan.

TTT was my favorite of them all... maybe i'm just a little odd, but it was the most intense[except for the finale of RotK] and drawing for me.

I don't look at is as the worst, but it has always been my least favourite. That doesn't mean I don't like it, but it is the movie that have the scenes I hate in the trilogy, like Legolas surfing. I also don't like many lines in that movie... BUT, all in all, it is a good film, but not the best, that would have to be FotR.
