They didn't show what Boromir got from Galadriel in Lothlorien in the EE!! Does anyone know why? Thanks!

Well, in the book he's just given a belt. Not much use to get from a belt, other than to hold your britches up.

Yes a belt and the elven cloak and yes, Arien, Galadriel knew his fate, don't you heard her 'He will try to take the Ring...'

I remember what he got but I don't remember her saying that. As you know I haven't seen the movies in so long so my memory is hazy. I work mostly off of memory.

Oh I'm sorry, well I've them all (and the EEs) at home and I'm watching them once a week... in FOTR 'Mirror of Galadriel' scene in the end after Frodo saw into the mirror the Shire, overrun by orcs, Galadriel says to him: 'I know what it is you saw, for it is also in my mind. It is what will come to pass if you should fail. The Fellowship is breaking. It has already begun. He will try to take the Ring. You know of whom I speak. One by one, it will destroy them all.' and then Frodo offers her the Ring and that's it...

HAha, I hadn't noticed that they don't show Boromir's gift. It would have looked pretty useless though, like, here's your belt. hehe ;D

Yeah, you guys are right I think. But I still think they should have put it in the movie.

don't even worry about it! thanks for that. It really helped refrsh my memory. But were she says it will destroy them all, I don't exactly find that true. lol that would have been funny but they still shoud have given him his gift just so they know he did get soemthing.

Maybe, Aragorn was really strong, you know he had the streight to let Frodo go when the Fellowship was breaking... What do you think about that, Arien?

Hold on; how does this tie into Boromir? Sorry, I'm confused.

Well, I meant just that it won't destroy Aragorn because after all he refused to take the Ring but it has taken Boromir, that was my point but I'm sorry if you can't understand me, that's because you haven't seen FOTR so many times as me, that's all...

Oh I get you now. It was kind of apparent that Boromir was going to be tempted by the One Ring in The Council of Elrond becuase he thought of using it instead of destroying it. Thanks!

They really should have put it in the movie though because then it's kind like she doesn't like him and he's left out.
