Wow, is that for school? I wish our school gave us projects like that! In my opinion ROTK is the quickest to read anyway (my record is three days ) so you should be okay. Just relax and enjoy it

Darrrrrn, it would totally ruin it for me if I had to do that, and deconstruct his writings. I wouldn't mind being told to read it, but to write essays on it? Nahhhh...

Really? I actually like writing essays on stories and things, I think it helps to give a better understanding and apriciation of them. I wrote an essay on LOTR once, lol

Oh! Writing essays is allright, but so long as it's not a book I totally love and LOVE even more.
Romeo and Juliet was allright, as was "An Inspector Calls".

What do you mean by make a soundtrack? Did you have to compile songs that could potentially be a soundtrack to it if it were a film?
Out of curiousity, what did you put on there?

WOW!!! and that's for your school?! well, i think i can help, because i had the same report to do for my english classes last year. now... i think that one immportant moment is the council of elrond, because it's then when we learn that frodo is going to carry the ring and that aragorn is the king of gondor. the second will be... the scenes with galadriel (i don'r remember the chapter). those are really immportant moments for frodo, because he learns that the destroying of the ring is only his jobe. the battle for helms deep is a really nice scene and i think that you should add it to your other choises. well, i can't remember more, but if i do i will write them here. i hope that i helped!

1. A scene from the shire and use the music Concerning Hobbits.
2. Then Flight to the Ford (pick some song)
3. Council of Elrond (the song they used for this. look in the AU music section for the 30 second clips)
4. Then tel about the fellowships journey all the way up to Lothlorien (use some song that they use during that part)
5. For Lorien and The Mirror of Galadriel part part use the music Lothlorien.
6. Tell of them sailing and then stopping to decide what they are going to do next (use the music they use in the movie)
7. Then tell of Boromir wanting the Ring and of the breaking of the fellowship (use the song the breaking of the fellowship)
8. Tell of Sam and Frodo saliling away.(and use the music that corresonds with that scene)
