I don't think that Legolas and Frodo had a lot of topics for talking and maybe that's why prof. Tolkien decided not to have any special converstion between these two characters.

Yeah that's true. I think that Legolas was more representing the race of the elves in the fellowship so he didn't need to be talking all the time. The elves seem to be very quiet and stuff. I like Legolas but he's not a important character on the books.

LOL!!! I'd also like to think am like you Lady Undomiel - quiet and shoot fell beasts lol. I've completely forgotten the question let alone my reply Oh yes - Legolas was a rep! They all were and of course the hobbits did most there were four of them. Aragorn and Boromir so the humans were significant and Gandalf well it was his fight. Am reminded of when Ara and Boromir dug a path in the snow and then carried the hobbits through while Legolas went to "find the sun". He brought some hope but stilted, he slept too and was weary and used up Elrond's water lol. so yeah, whadda waste! even Gimli beat him by one The elves already had theirs, no alliance this time, besides the twins did a lot of the slaying., and they WERE NOT IN THE MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!! crime crime crime! I couldn't remember him at all from the books, I thought he had black hair. I have a love/hate relationship of my own with the movie guy lol. Personally I think they try to put much of Glorfindel in him seeing as how they CUT HIM TOO!!!!!! crime crime crime!

I agree Elendille. Legolas was an awesome character but they did try to put to much of Glorfindel in him.

I couldn't remember him at all from the books, I thought he had black hair. Actually in the books there's no description of Legolas's appearance... and I don't think like you Elendille but this is your opinion and that's all everyone has different character and opinion...

Well actually there is: It said he was fair of hair and that usually means a person is blonde and he has long slener hands, keen bright elven eyes, he is tall, and fair of face.
