Snow had already dusted over the cold grave of her little sister. Her angel. She stood infront of the freshly dug dirt, jaw clenched, her sad blue eyes narrowed on the blank white tombstone. She did not have a funeral. There was no Eulogy. Nor was there even a coffin.. Her dear sweet three year old sister was placed in a simple small box, and layed beneath the clay. Annwyn was all alone now. All her family had been layed to rest beneath her feet. Her long silky black hair rested over her shoulders, collecting small snowflakes that the wind blew towards her. Her smooth pale skin was flushed pink from the bitter cold, and her lips were cracked and dry. She had gaunt features, for her village was going through famine. She figured that soon she would starve to death, and join her family. Annwyn looked forward to it... ( Okay, this was kind of random, but anyone is welcome to join! This takes place in a small village somewhere in Europe around the 1700's. I'm sorry for the short post, my posts will be longer, I promise. BIO:
Ivy walked down the cold path to the grave-yard. her arms rapped around her. Her long brown hair flowing were-ever the wind takes it. Her Bright green eyes dimmer then ever, Sadness has taken over her face, she watched the ground as a small tear formed and rolled down here face, She felt it become cold as the winters air touched it.
She walked up to the same spot, Apone her Fathers grave, and lent a red rose on the tome-stone, "I miss you" she wispered, Her words carred away.she sat down knowing she would be here for a while.

Alianne slipped into her dress, the silver one, the one her sister had made for her. Carrying a single long-stemmed rose, she floated down to the cemetary. "You shouldn't have done it- not for me." she whispered to the gravestone of Arvasary Sriae, once her sister. A single tear trickled down her cheek.

( Woo! Thanks for joining! Lol. ;D )
Her head jerked to the side almost immediately, realizing she was no longer alone in this barren graveyard. Looking from the corner of her eye, she noticed another girl, perhaps a fellow villager. Annwyn released a soft sigh through her nostrils, a bit relieved.
She wrapped her coat tigher around her slender form, as the wind picked up, and she turned around, taking one last look at the blank tombstone. She would have whispered a good-bye, but her throat was so choked with unshed tears, she merely nodded in respect instead. When she reached the other girl whome had brown hair, she stopped.. " I am sorry for your loss. It seems like everyone is dying lately.." She forced a soothing smile on her lips, to try and comfort her, even though she knew it might be impossible; especially with the cold weather. She had not yet noticed the other girl.

Ali's red-blond hair cascaded in waves down her back as she looked down at the only mother-figure she'd ever known. It wasn't right, she shouldn't have been the one to go...

At the rate people were showing up, this place would be swarming with mourning family members and friends. It wasn't right. Why was everyone dying? Annwyn had just noticed the other girl with lighter hair to her left. Her brows furrowed in confusion and sorrow, and she stared at the girl for a few moments, wondering who she was standing over. Her ebony hair was beginning to become wet from all the snow, and she knew if she didn't leave to go indoors soon, she would catch a nasty cold; yet something compelled her to stay. As if she was needed.. She blinked tears away furiously, fighting the urge to burst out in tears, not only for her lost sister, or for the ones who were lost here, but for her dying village.

Ali looked up at the girl off to the side, and swiftly headed over. "Who was it for you?" she murmured softly, a handkercheif ready.

..She hesitated for a moment, for this would be the first time she would say her name after she died. "..Nimwe." She replied quietly, barely audible, though loud enough so that the girl could hear. "And you?"

"My sister, Arvasary." Alianne said, just as quiet. "She died to save my life."

" Nimwe was my sister as well...Three years old. She starved to death." She looked up at the girl, cerulean eyes brimming with tears. " -Starved- to death..." She put extra emphasis on that word, hating it with all her soul. No child should ever die, not in any case.
" So.. Your sister. She died saving you? How?" She shifted in her stance, folding her arms over her chest, in hopes to get warm. Sadly, her complection matched the color of the snow. She would not last long in this village.. she could even fade this winter if she proceeded to expose herself in the harsh winds.

Her hair colour is my name! lol)
Ivy smiled at her, though she felt ready to fall in her own hole and die. she layed down, she felt the cold snow fall on her face. she closed her eyes tight, and wispered, "I hate you!" she felt like screaming, She tryed but her throat was sore and dry.
She sat back up and kissed her hand and placed it on her fathers stone. she closed her eyes again a single tear ran down her face, She stood up slowly and started to walk. the snow that had collected on her now falling of as gracfull as it did land. She tapped the ebony black haired girl oin the shoulder. "thank-you for caring" she then walked out of the grave yard.
As she stepped she felt more alone. THis was the very day her father died, SHe never had a mother, well none that she knew of and well her father was the world and now he was gone, She would be alone forever.

"It is not a tale I relish telling...suffice to say I was betrayed." Alianne said, a shadow flickering across her face. "But now. Would you like to come home and have supper with me? We're not rich by any means, but we have enough for a guest- and now that Arvasary won't be...there, there'll be plenty."

She stammered, her mouth open as if ready to reply, yet no words came out. Her gaze averted towards the girl that was now currently leaving, then back at the girl before her.
" I would not want to intrude in your home, and eat your food.." She began politely. " Though your gracious offer does intice me, I don't see how I could possibly do so, especially with your sister gone." She smiled once more, "My name is Annwyn. What's yours?"

Mary sat in a wooden chair by the kitchen fire, her eyes were brimmed with tears, the warm fire evaporating them at a steady pace. She sat sideways, half at the table her face facing outside where a thick snow fall had started to fall, making the fire the only light source that filled the room.
It cast a eerie look over her once beautiful face, the tears galzing her brown eyes, the area round them hollow and shadowed, her once flaming red hair limp, greasy, lifeless and dull in colour. Her face looked sunken in as if the bones were eating away the skin.
Mary sniffed slightly, then stood up she walked over to the window she could just make figures out at the graveyard, she stood and stared through the window and watched as one left, the heavy snow fall covering her face from view.

Molly wrapped a blanket tightly around her. Her mother, Lilly, came out of a room. Her eyes were sunken and sad. At the sight of her, Molly collasped onto the cold floor, weeping. Lilly swept over to Molly and knelt next to her daughter. 'Molly. Be strong. For PaPa.' Lilly said hugging Molly. Molly dropped her head down onto her chest. Her silk night gown barely kept her warm. The large house they lived in was exetremely cold in the winter. Molly's family was one of the rich families. But her mother always taught her money wasn't everything, that the more important things were more important.
Slowly Molly got to her feet. She looked up at her mother. Her light blonde hair was pulled back with a string, still the tight curls flowed down her back. Her pale blue eyes were dark with sorrow and pain. After Molly's father had gotten very sick, her mother stayed up countless nights with out sleep. 'Go to bed. I will stay with him.' Molly said. Her mother looked at her daughter. 'Bless you sweet angel.' Her mother said. She bent down and kissed Molly on the head. Molly hugged her mother and then went into her fathers room. Molly stifled a cry. She hadn't seen him the past couple days. He had gotten worse. He had some sort of disease that made your bodt shut down. He looked weak and wrinkled, although he was not that old. 'Molly?' He whispered. 'Papa,' Molly said she sat down on the chair near him. His eyes searched hers for a minute. 'No more dispair,' He said. An odd grimace played on the sides of his face. He was trying to smile. 'No more dispair.' He repeated more firmly. And with that, he lay motionless on the bed. A tear rolled down Molly's face. She buried her face in her arms and wept. A nurse walked in and escorted her out. She felt limp as she made her way to her room. She buried herself in the thick blankets and cried throughout the night.
