During the lunch break, Jenn put up a notice in the common room:
QUIDDITCH TRY OUTS
This Thursday on the Quidditch Pitch
5 o'clock
Keeper Needed
She got to the great hall just as Dumbledore was sitting down from making a speach. "What was that all about?" She asked Hermione as she sat down and started filling her plate. |

Stacy just came in great hall when Dumbledore started his speech. She sat between Jenn and Fred and said: "Well, this is going to be amusing school year.", she smiled, "I heard smething about age limit. Students of 6th and 7th year can participate, younger can't. I wonder who will choose contestants?"

"I wonder what the Triwizard Tournament is about." Kelly said.
"Yea, I wonder." Harry replied. Thy walked back to the Great Hall.
"Ugh, I need food." Kelly groaned.
"Haven't you eaten?" Harry asked questioningly.
"Nope." Kelly said.
"Hey Jenn." Kelly greeted her friend.
Kelly sat down next to Harry and filled up her plate. She began eating.

Izzy walked into the great hall with the others, they made their way to the Gryffindor table chatting and laughing together, Izzy spotted Fred and grinned to herself, Kelly looked at her and imediatly said something as though she had read Izzy's thoughts
"Go sit next to him you daft bat" Izzy looked at her and grinned and replied when Ron was out of ear shot
"ok i'll ask Fred out if you ask Ron out deal?" Kelly looked at her but didn't answer, Izzy went and sat next to Fred and smiled, and started to pile the food onto her plate and began to eat.
After awhile Dumbledore walked in and made an anouncement about the triwizard tornament, Izzy looked round in excitement "Wow this year should be fun, quidditch as well, oh Jenn i thought i would let you know, i'm gonna try out for keeper, i've been dying to get on the team when are tryouts?" Jenn looked at her and replied "5pm on the pitch tonight" Izzy nodded i'll be there!" they finished their lunch and made their way to History of Magic, they entered Proffesor Binns floating round as usual, Izzy looked at the others and griined

After Dumbledore's speech, Rachel got up and said to Crystal: "I fear that the only excitement I'll have this year is The Triwizard Tournament and Quidditch..." She smiled goodbye and walked out to the grounds for her Care of Magical Creatures class. Hagrid stood waiting for her class.

Crystal smiled back then got up and left for Defebse against the Dark Arts, which she had with her cousin for the third year in a row. Crystal went to her class and sat down in the back, like always. She wondered who the teacher would be this year.

Hermione closed her book and turned to Jenn. "Dumbledore made a speech about Hogwart's hosting the Triwizard Tournament this year, and two other schools are coming and Quidditch is still on."

Kelly jogged up to catch Izzy.
"The Deals ON. Harry is talking to Ron for me. You want me to talk to Fred for you?" Kelly asked sitting at a table near Izzy. The class came in looking bored. Kelly rummaged in her book bag for her History of Magic textbook and waited patiently. Harry sat next to Kelly and grinned smugly. Kelly poked him sharply with her wand. Hermione sat next to Izzy. Ron hadn't come in yet. Kelly was talking to her friends waiting for class to start.

Class ended, and Rachel gathered her things to leave. She felt an enormous weight on her shoulder. "Y'all right there, Rachel?" Hagrid asked.
"I am all right. Thanks for asking, though." She was feeling better. Class had been fun--they had toyed around with Madskarts and Olepins from the forest. They were pretty interesting creatures.
Hagrid looked at her, not seeming sure. "If you need anythin', just let m'know." Rachel nodded and trudged up the path back to the castle.

Hermione noticed a fit of giggles from Izzy and Kelly as Ron walked in.
"What's that all about?" She whispered to Harry.
"You'll see!" He whispered back, elbowing her side, causing her to blush.
Ron said down awkwardly in between Izzy and Kelly.

Kelly stuffed her face into her hands to stifle giggles. Professor Binns dragged on about Trolls and Giants unaware of the laughing.

Izzy sat down Kelly came over to her
"The deal's on, Harry's talking toRon for me, shall i talk to Fred"
Izzy hesitated then agreeded, they sat giggleing, Hermione entered and sat next to Izzy, she noticed that she and Kelly in a giggleing fit, Ron entered the room and Izzy adn Kelly cou;dn't comtaion themselves, they had to stuff their hands in their mouths to stop laughing out loud, Ron looked at them awkardly and sat down in between them, Izzy looked at Kelly
"This should be a fun lesson" kelly nodded and agreeded then Izzy lowered her voice so that Ron couldn't hear
"Ok here's the plan, you will be going out with Ron by the end of the year and i will be going out with Fred" Kelly hesitated then agreed, Izzy looked at her sternly then held out her pinky and said
"Pinky promise, and you can't back out" Kelly held her pinky up and gripped it in between Izzy's and they shook, and went then went back to listening to Binns.
The lunch bell rang somewhere in the castleand they made their way to lunch.

Hermione frowned. Nothing had happened with Kelly or Izzy, except they couldn't stop giggling the entire class, which caused her to not focus ALL of her attention on Prof. Binns. Hermione jogged up next to Harry.
"So? What was that all about?" Hermione asked him.
"I think Izzy and Kelly have this bet on to ask out Ron and Fred." Harry said with a shrug. "I guess they're not doing it today."
Hermione nodded. If only she were included in that bet so she could ask Harry out.

Kelly ran up to Harry.
"Talk to Ron TONIGHT please!" Kelly whispered urgently. Harry grinned.
"Yea. I heard about the bet." Harry grinned. Kelly blushed and elbowed him.
"OW!! Why do you girls' keep doing THAT!!" Harry cried.
Kelly hurried off laughing so hard her stomach and sides hurt.

Jenn saw Kelly walk away from Harry, laughing so hard she nearly dropped her books. Jogging to catch up, Jenn asked
"What was that all about? Izzy told me about the bet, but surley it couldnt be that funny!"
