Dixon dialed Jack's number. "Jack, how is Marshall coming along with that antidote?" Dixon asked looking down at Sark. "He still hasn't figured it out yet." Jack said. "Why?" He asked. "Because, Sark is getting more sick by the minute." Dixon said. "Just keep him awake. He will live." Jack said hanging up.
Kali left Sloane's office and walked over to Jack. "Do you have a problem with giving Sark an anesthetic while you are cutting open his shoulder? And did you even bother to stitch him up?" She asked. "We cannot stitch him up until we inject him with the antidote." Jack said. "Which is where?" She asked. "Marshall has not found one yet.." Jack said. "Well then why didn't you give him an anesthetic?" She asked. "He will live." Jack replied sternly, not answering her question. "Oh, I get it. Terrorists deserve to feel the pain." She said. "That's not.." Jack began to say. "Oh yes it is." She paused. "You didn't think twice about it." She said. Jack didn't reply. "Is he going to die?" She asked. "The chances are high. Unless Marshall finds the antidote." Jack said. "If you had stopped to think before taking out that tracking device, none of this would be happening. This is your fault." She said. Jack didn't care at all. She figured he wouldn't. "He is a terrorist. The only reason we are still keeping him alive is because he can help us later on with missions. He has valuable information that we can use. When we squeeze him dry of that, he will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, and yes, executed." Jack said, walking away from Kali.

Nadia walked into APO. There was a debriefing in 5 minutes. She went to the debriefing room and sat down.

Kali went into the debriefing room, she sat down in front of Nadia and buried her head in her hands. She could do nothing. She sighed and took her hands away from her face waiting for Nadia to ask her what was going on.

Sydney got up, and got dressed in a pair of khaki pants and a red short sleeve t-shirt. She pulled her hair up into a ponytail and went to make herself some breakfast. She made a dozen bran muffins and some fresh orange juice, and sat down at the table to read the newspaper and enjoy her breakfast.

Kali stood up from her seat and walked out of the debriefing room. She knew it was about to start that minute, but she did not really care. She walked into Marshall's office and tapped him. "How are you coming along with that antidote?" She asked. "I still haven't..really- well- found one." He said. "How long is it going to take?" She asked. "Well, I'm still studying the-uh- tracker. I haven't found anything yet that can lead to what antidote he needs.." Marshall said looking down at the tracker Jack had given him. "Will you be able to find one?" She asked. "Come on, it's me we are talking about." Marshall said. Kali sighed. "Okay." She said walking out of his office.
Kali heard someone calling her name, and she saw Julee Ward, the APO psychiatrist walking over to her. Oh great.. she thought. She must have heard about the news, and now thought Kali needed to 'talk' to her. "I just heard the news. Anything you want to talk about?" She asked. "Yeah, could you do me a favor?" Kali asked. "Sure. What is it?" She asked. "If you want to help me so badly, then why don't you call Director Chase and tell her that I don't need therapy. And you can also tell her that she needs to re-instate my authorization to see prisoners, because the only reason I am even in therapy is because they think I need it for a reason they caused! Until then, don't talk to me again." She said coldy walking away from her. She was sure that the therapist was most likely happy she had just told her all that, probably because the therapist saw it as her 'letting out her anger' and she thought it was good for her.
Dixon looked down as Sark began coughing. Sark leaned over on the side of his bed and coughed out blood. "You okay?" Dixon asked handing Sark some water. Sark laughed, or at least made a dry sound that halfway sounded like laughing as he took the water from Dixon. He sipped at it and then began to drink it thirstly. "Don't drink it so fast. Or your going to get sick." Dixon said. "I'm already sick, Marcus. But I appreciate you're concern, however fake it might be." Sark said handing him back the water. "I said don't call me Marcus." Dixon said. Sark sighed and lowered himself back onto the bed. He rolled over and drew his legs up to his chest and closed his eyes. "Remember, don't go to sleep." Dixon said sternly. Sark didn't respond. Pain was surging through his entire body, and he felt like he was going to vomit every single time he moved. His body was like a furnace, and he was burning up horribly. Dixon knew that if it was any other day, Sark would be throwing insults left and right at him. Luckily today, the day he had to sit in this room with him, he was deathly ill. And he could barely speak. Dixon was quite happy about this, and he could care less if Sark died.

"What do you mean? You want to know why I'm not in there or something?" She asked. She didn't have time for this. She needed to focus on Sark.

Kali sighed. "The reason why I'm not in the debriefing is because I have better things to do." She said.

"That is the mistake you make. Whatever I do, has nothing to do with you. So don't think for a minute that it does." Kali replied.
