Golweneth was greatly worried about Simeriel so she rushed into the cabin and found Simeriel's bag of herbs. The boat rocked back and forth and the wind was howling. Golweneth rumaged through the bag and found some herbs that she knew Simeriel had once used on her to help her become conscious. "Here," she shouted to Tirith trying to speak over the howling wind. "Brew these herbs into a tea and have her inhale the vapours. It will help her become conscious," Golweneth said as she handed the herbs to Tirith. She then rushed back on deck to man an oar. Water poured over the sides of the ship as they crashed into tall rolling waves.

Everyone on deck was soaked. Alassiel was finding it hard to hold onto the oar when salty water was spalshing into her eyes and on her face, she wished that the waves would calm down soon.

Alex hope the storm could stop , for it is heavy. The taste of salt can be felt in his mouth . When all hopes was going to fail , out of the blue , the sun shone through the gloomy clouds and the storm calm though the ship still shaking and moving up and down violently

"What is it Al.." she began to say. Then she saw the sun just barely coming out and brightening the sky. After that the sea seemed somewhat calmer and their path was visable. "I think that we are off course." she said staring oddly at the horizon.

Silmeriel roused slowly. This was not right; they were not on course.

"These herbs seemed to have worked," said Tirith, looking at Silmeriel. "Wait, what did you say? We're off course?"

"Yes." Silmeriel said. "But getting back on course won't be hard. Hold on a second." She went over to Lady Varda and held a quick conversation. "We just need to turn the tiller two points west."

"Oh dear, the storm must have dragged us away from our course," said Alassiel, "let us hope you can fix that Silmeriel." Alassiel went into the cabin and unlocked the cubbord doors.

Silmeriel took the tiller and tacked them two points west, securing the tiller with a rope. They were back on track- the journey would just be extended by about three days.

"How much has the storm damaged the ship?" she said seeing the floor covered in water.

"All I hope is that something like this will never happen again," said Alassiel as she appeared from the cabin. "We have lost enough time due to the storm, it seems like the weather is not on our side."

"That is true." Theowyn said coming out of the cabin. She sighed and said, "Perhaps the Valar is against us as well."

"Do you really think they'd try to prevent their queen, Lady Varda, from returning home?" Silmeriel asked sternly. "No. It's just bad weather- happens all the time at sea."
