Well, my favourite song since last winter 'My Immortal' - Evanescence really reminds me about Arwen and Aragorn's story... Here're the lyrics:
I'm so tired of being here suppressed by all of my childish fears and if you have to leave I wish that you would just leave because your presence still lingers here and it won't leave me alone
these wounds won't seem to heal this pain is just too real there's just too much that time cannot erase
when you cried I'd wipe away all of your tears when you'd scream I'd fight away all of your fears and I've held your hand through all of these years but you still have all of me
you used to captivate me by your resonating light but now I'm bound by the life you left behind your face it haunts my once pleasant dreams your voice it chased away all the sanity in me
these wounds won't seem to heal this pain is just too real there's just too much that time cannot erase
when you cried I'd wipe away all of your tears when you'd scream I'd fight away all of your fears and i've held your hand through all of these years but you still have all of me
I've tried so hard to tell myself that you're gone and though you're still with me I've been alone all along

do you mean to describe a particular scene, or jst an idea? because i think Butterflies and Hurricanes by Muse would be quite a good song for Aragorn.
TEXTchange, everything you are and everything you were your number has been called fights, battles have begun revenge will surely come your hard times are ahead
best, you've got to be the best you've got to change the world and you use this chance to be heard your time is now
change, everything you are and everything you were your number has been called fights and battles have begun revenge will surely come your hard times are ahead
best, you've got to be the best you've got to change the world and you use this chance to be heard your time... it is your time...
don't, let yourself down don't let yourself go your last chance has arrived
best, you've got to be the best you've got to change the world and you use this chance to be heard your time is nowTEXT
(im not sure if the italics have worked lol)

I LOVE THAT SONG TOO! It's my favorite at the mo. The first couple of time I watched it really reminded me of Rivendell all abandoned and of Arwen and Aragorn. It goes so well. I even wrote a poem thinking about it. ;D

Really? Can you post that poem?? Cool! And you've heard the CD (original) song, haven't you? Because it really reminds me for Rivendell, you should hear it - from 1:28 to 1:35 there's that sound is really taking me back to Rivendell and there's also a voice from 2:24 - 2:27 that sounds like an elf voice... *enjoying the song and pressing 'Post'*

I can't wait! And, of course, I've 'Fallen' (the CD) with all the songs including Bring Me to Life and My Immortal but there're also very cool songs. There's one 'My Last Breath' that again reminds me a little about Arwen's death maybe:
hold on to me love you know I can't stay long all I wanted to say was I love you and I'm not afraid can you hear me? can you feel me in your arms?
holding my last breath safe inside myself are all my thoughts of you sweet raptured light it ends here tonight
I'll miss the winter a world of fragile things look for me in the white forest hiding in a hollow tree (come find me) I know you hear me I can taste it in your tears
holding my last breath safe inside myself are all my thoughts of you sweet raptured light it ends here tonight
closing your eyes to disappear you pray your dreams will leave you here but still you wake and know the truth no one's there
say goodnight don't be afraid calling me calling me as you fade to black

I don't own it but I know all the songs. That reminds me of what would have happened if darkness had fallen. Here's the poem: Faded GloryOne fateful day I came across, a land so grey and cold. Silent lay its splendid halls, wrapped in lonely thought Of memories of fairer days, of ages long since past.
And so I stand small and lone, amidst this great abode; Thinking of what could have been in days that are no more.
Could this be the land of kin, fairest of them all? Whose sweet elvish voices filled the night, with songs of joyous sorrow.
And eyes as keen as lances, would pierce the evening air, Filled with distant memories of forgotten days of yore.
Whose wisdom reached beyond mere men and learned in lore they were, For the firstborn they are and twilight they revere.
Could this have been the homely house, last of them in Middle-earth? The home of Lord great and wise, Vilya he did bear.
And could this be the home of her? The one whom they called Evenstar? Whose beauty is but memory and days here long since past.
So can this be the land of those who long since left our shores? And sailed into the utmost West, never to return.
Nay I say. How can it be? This land so barren and cold; Whose faded glory is utterly lost, to the hands of merciless time.
I've written better.
