Yeah that scene is so cool, I think the music is from track 4 on ROTK, the one when the trumpet booms out loud and clear, I love that track ;D

Yeah. Even it's not really practical, I love that scene anyway. You're right, Alassiel, the music's from track 4...I love that! Every time I hear the Gondor theme burst out so loudly I smile. ;D

I really did like that scene, but there is one problem with it. One of the beacons is on a mountain above the cloud. Peopl could not go that high without breath masks, and a fire could not be lit becuase of the lack of oxygen. It was still a good scene though

It was a beautiful scene, I think its so thrilling because you feel the hope for Gondor in the call for aid. The hope that they might survive becomes valid.
My one question: Where do the "beacon-lighters" live?

I loved the lighting of the beacons.. the way they stretched over the mountains and how Aragorn saw the last one lit and ran frantically up to the Golden Hall. Was surprisingly tense for such a short scene.

Yeah. I think that it's one of the most visually stunning scenes in the films. It's so beautiful to watch... I have the music in my head now I remember seeing it the first time it was magnificent ditto I have the music in my head now too, lol, EVERYONE who saw ROTK remembers that scene as being the most visually spectacular of all...the WHOLE movie is visually/musicaly stunning, but that scene...wow..
