Or when he hits the Warg coming towards Gimli:
"BUT THAT ONE COUNTS AS MINE!!!"

This is a tough one. But this is what I first has in mind: Sam: "It’s like in the great stories, Mr. Frodo. The ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger they were. And sometimes you didn’t want to know the end. Because how could the end be happy. How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened. But in the end, it’s only a passing thing, this shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new day will come. And when the sun shines, it will shine out the clearer. Those were the stories that stayed with you. That meant something. Even if you were too small to understand why. But I think, Mr. Frodo, I do understand. I know now. Folk in those stories had lots of chances of turning back, only they didn’t. Because they were holding on to something." But there are sooo many else too. That's just one. Quite long, yea

moraniel: Oh I love this moment! It's one of my favourites too! Frodo answers something like: "What should we hold on to?" Sam: " There's some good in this world....for which it is worth fighting for..." Oh it's so touching.... Another quote: " Sam, I'm glad you're with me, here at the end of all things..." (Frodo RotK) Or Gimli: I'd have never thought that I'd die side by side with an elf... Legolas: What about side by side with a friend? Gimli: Aye.....I could do that....

Hmm, let's see, favorite quotes in the movies: The Elvish parts (and other parts that are not plain English!). Most of Liv Tyler's lines:
~"If you want him, come and claim him!" Lovely scene, we loves it preciouss... ~"There is still hope." Yes, yes, yes, there is always hope!!!! ;D

I love when Aragorn and Legolas are arguing in Helm's Deep:
LEGOLAS: Boe a hyn: neled herain... dan caer menig?
ARAGORN: Si beriathar hyn ammaeg na ned Edoras.
LEGOLAS: Aragorn, nedin dagor hen ú-'erir ortheri. Natha daged dhaer!
(And they should be: 300, against 10,000?) (They have a better chance defending themselves here than in Edoras.) (Aragorn, they cannot win this fight. They are all going to die!)

THEODEN: Where is the horse and the rider? Where is the horn that was blowing? They have passed like rain on the mountains. Like wind in the meadow. The days have gone down in the West... ...behind the hills......into Shadow. How did it come to this?
An AMAZING speech... very sad because Theoden thinks that his people are going to die..
