normally I'm not the type that cry over a movie... But lotr, hell yeah I cry every time... I can almost cry just thinking about the movie.. Yeah the actors did a very good job... I can't describe the feeling inside me, I'm sad and happy at the same time... Almost like Frodo in the ending, he is the only one who doen't cry, I love those hobbits, and of corse he is sad to live them, but I made this choice, and feel good about it... and when he smile the last time you can't stop crying, he is so lovely just to look at... OMG! That movie is the best that's ever happend to me...

[glow=Purple,2,300] I always cry during the scene where Gandalf and Shaddowfax ride out to save the guys getting attacked by the Nazgul (I breed and train horses, so seeing the bridleless riding also does something emotional to me... well that and there are few times I ever have enough space to really run my horse out like that... it feels like flying, and I so rarely get to do it)
I have cried in the scene just after Merry stabs the Witchking in the leg and Eowyn slays him... and then talks to her dying uncle.
AND when the final corronation takes place and the whole group of humans bows to the four hobbits...
I also cry like a baby during the epilogue when Frodo talks about finnishing the book.
You know, with how Ice cold and un-emotional people seem to think I am... this really makes me sound like a great big sappy crybaby... hmmm... [/glow]

I always tear up for the "my friends you bow to no-one", but also when Gimli says "I never thought I would die fighting side by side with an elf" Legolas: "How about side by side with a friend?" Gimli: "Aye I can do that"...never fails to bring a tear. And when Elrond gets on that boat, the elves have left for ever never to return...sob...

:'(I cried almost during the whole movie... That was because it was the end and it would never come back again... ![:'(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cry.png) But the part that I thought was really special was when everybody was at the black gate and Aragorn says: For Frodo... and when the rohirrim come to save minas tirith!!!

I also love the part where Aragorn says "For Frodo". It's so beautiful. One scene that never fails to bring tears is the Grey Havens ![:'(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cry.png) *sniff* Frodo's going away... ![:'(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cry.png)

I have never cried at a movie and LotR was no exception *feels cold hearted.* I got teary at some bits, all in RotK coz it's the most powerful emotionally. When Theoden dies is the biggest one for me, I just imagine how Eowyn feels, losing the man that she loves as a father ![:'(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cry.png) . And the Grey Havens obviously lol. Other bits that moved me were the Ride of the Rohirrim, that is my favourite scene from any movie ever, Bernard Hill is a great actor and he made Theoden one of my favourite characters. And as much as I hate to say it, some of Arwen's scenes get to me (they didn't used to, I just used to be blinded by rage lol. like when she sees Eldarion and stuff. *sob*

When I saw it i theatres, I cried at the grey havens, and got a lump i my throat at too many places to name... ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) When I see it ow I usually burst into tears at The End of all Things, ad just barely get over it right before the Grey Havens, and there I cry again. It is so sad ad yet so beautiful. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

I'm a complete sap when it comes to movies but ROTK seems to be the big one. First time I saw it at theaters I couldn't speak for a while after I was so upset *blushes*
Main scenes I got choked up at were:
*Pippin and Gandalf, "This is not the end" speech * The Rohirrim riding down to battle on the Pelennor fields *Sam carries Frodo * Aragorn's "For Frodo" bit *When Frodo wakes up and the fellowship enter his room *"You bow to no one" scene *The Grey Havens
