I don't think any of the films are better than the other, the story lines are so different that you can't really compare. And I personally love the whole Rohan culture. Is it just me, or does anybody else get chills when Saruman calls out "to war!" to his army? Such an awesome moment in the film

I agree with most of you guys. Ye can't see the single movies but everything as a whole. FotR is very nice.....probably because it was the first one I've seen.... But they belong all together. None of them is bad!

I agree with that.... I once overheard someone in a bookstore saying: "I heard those books were the worst because they cut off at the end." Talking about Lord of the Rings. I was rather annoyed by that, that those people would try to judge each book seperately, when there is no way to know the story without reading all three. This goes for the movies as well.
But... I wouldn't say that TTT is the worst of the three movies, there is no worst really. I liked TTT a lot.

^ You make a good point. All three are a part of one big masterpiece and to leave one out is a shame because you're not getting the full story.
I like all three films very much. The Fellowship has a special place in my heart. But I have to say that TTT was the best made out of all three, in my opinion. There's a lot of rising action and things really start to take shape and you get to understand the characters a bit more.

I liked FotR the best because it has a little of everying, fight, peace, (I personally had my heart stopped when the troll came around the pillar) everythng. It's my favorite. TTT and RotK are equal in my opinion because they're so different, you just can't judge it. But FotR because there's everything. Just my opinion. Oh, and yea, you can't judge any one without the other two.

The Two Towers is my favourite film- I love the scenes at Helm's Deep with the elves and Gandalf leading the Rohirrim to attack the Uruk-hai! It was more dramatic than people give it credit for. I preferred the battle for Helm's Deep more than the battle of the Pelennor Fields in ROTK!

lol I know- GIMLI: What's happening out there? LEGOLAS: Shall I describe it to you? Or would you like me to find you a box? (Gimli laughs) GIMLI: Legolas! Two already! LEGOLAS: I'm on 17! GIMLI: I'll have no pointy-ear outscoring me! Pure genius.
