i loved this movie SO MUCH!!!! i cried so hard during the scene wear elrond tells arwen that aragorn is going to die, and she's crying over his grave....and then when it shows her in the black dress mourning for him and she looks up with the tears in her eyes, and the veil is blowing all over the place (i love that shot), and then she's walking through the woods alone thennnnn i cried when (in the EE) eowyn is singing in rohirric for theodred, and then theoden breaks down on the mountain... *sigh* this whole movie made me cry basically lol P.S.- i cried ALOT during the part where Gandalf showed up on the mountian, glimmering on Shadowfax in his white robes....and he leads the rohorrim down the mountain and that swelling of music as they do it.....it sent me bawling

You have to agree that when Théoden stands beside his son's grave and cries. THAT's sad. And such powerfull words: "No parent should have to bury their child." AND when Frodo and Sam's in Osgiliath: "I can't do this, Sam." Oh I'm crying just remembering it...

i cry during sam's speech. I think that's the only time i cry during that movie. It's so sad and happy at the same time because the battle is won and then sam and frodo are off again! so sad!

well, i dont really cry about movies...but i get touched...very easily...i love the part that sam says "that there's some good in this world, Mr. Frodo, and its worth fighting for"...i thought a whole bunch of the other scenes were awesome, but not exactly the kind that bring tears to your eyes...

Sam's speech almost at the end of the movie, in voice over, while Theoden yells "victory!", the ents going to war (mostly what makes me cry is the music there) when Gandalf shows up with the Rohirrim at "dawn of the 5th day", also the music gets me going, when they all go and fight the "bad guys"...and the light! is like the battle between darkness and light, is awesome!

The "To the king," was a good quote from there. And the music (OMG, it TOTALLY set the mood! 1 time I didn't blink until they had gotten down the hill, and another time I didn't breathe:p), and the light shining down all slanty on the orcs... BEAUTIFUL! And Sam's speech. The music in that too is very lovely. I really like Samwise the Brave because it has so many elemetns from The Breaking of the Fellowship.
