I don't think they could make Tom Bombadil so real, if they tried ... And maybe he's too unserious. But I really don't know what I least liked in the film...!!

The part I least liked about Fellowship was the ENDING!!!!
It was perfect for the story, but I hate "to be continued" type endings. I wanted MORE... MORE of middle earth!

i liked everything, too, just i didn't really like their interpretation of galadriel's mirror, and galadriel seemed slightly crazy...i don't know, she was freakier in the movie than in the book

Hummm.....I have no idea. There were too many bits where I was mad at P.J for doing what he did to pick one...I really did not like the Flight to the Ford, not explaining why the hobbit's swords were special (after all Merry's goes on to stab the Witch-King and you need an unordinary sword to do that in my opinion), ummm....yeah. Any changes from the book were my least favorite part. Let's leave it at that to save space. ![::)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/eyesroll.png) I am a HUGE Tolkien Purist.

I love the films and I love the books. But I agree with Philippa Boyens' response to this same deal about what goes, what doesn't, who does what, etc. "This trilogy is just one interpretation of Tolkien by a group of passionate fans" and it is. There's dozens of things that changed and many more that could've been but all in all, the movie is the movie, and the book is the book. They're different elements and each is amazing in its own way. I love the whole thing and didn't dislike anything, except having to stand up and putting in the TTT discs in. ;D

^^ I get why people like Philippa Boyens don't get why people like me go on about the changes, even my dad says look at them as two different things and I have tred, bu te fact ofthat mater is that the films are called The Lord of the Rings therefore the story should be the proper story of the book The Lord of the Rings!!! I don't think I'm making much sense, but I understand so ![::)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/eyesroll.png) lol

I didn't like the part when Boromir was trying to hurt Frodo to get at the ring, but then again the ring was corupting him. I also didn't like that P.J. didn't add Tom Bombadil! He was a great character remembered in the books.
