Actually Rohan had more men in the book than on the movie, and one of the Helmsdeep scenes I am glad they cut out is the scenes they shot with Arwen in them.

That was only an idea they had when Miramax was sponsing the film. It would have been one of the most drastic changes from the book they could have made, and I also think that it would have been a huge mistake if they had used thode scenes.

I wonder one thing: How many times have all of you read the two towers and the rest of LotR?

Yeah i definatly loved the TT book more than the movie, because im like obsessive over that change they made with the elves coming, actually no, i hate all of helms deep in the movie, because they also made it so that EOMER came at the end.....(heh) yeah..soo it seriously annoys me lol

I didn't like the Ekves coming to Helm's Deep , I didn't like Aragorn falling over a cliff, but the warg attack was pretty cool. I really really hated the change in Faramir. He was so noble and cool in the book, in the film he was greedy and appeared insane. I've read LotR only 3 times . I used to think myself very good for having read them thrice, now I feel like a novice lol.

I dunno, I didn't mind the changes, either. TTT is my favourite book and movie, and I love both versions of it.
I guess I kinda admire the risks that P.J. and Co. took with TTT.
For the record, I'd like to see the Arwen @ Helm's Deep scenes just to see them. I am glad that they removed those scenes, but I'd still LOVE to see them.
