I was thinking of making one after watching the movie last night, which I might add was very very good. I thought it might make an interesting RP, what do you think? I encourage the guys to participate in this one, or if your a girl, make a male character; seeing as how there are more male leading roles, and it wouldn't be very interesting with a bunch of frightened girls running around, trying to escape from invisible soldiers, if you get what I mean. But girls need to be in this too! And, if you wish, you can create a new character but lets keep that to a minimum, pleasie. Post your character, and we'll see how this goes, eh?

I think Achilles is an interesting character - I could attempt to be him, if you don't mind?

Alright, looks like we've got enough. I've been skiddish at starting this rp, because Its such a great movie, and I don't want to make it look bad. Lol! We'll start the day after Paris returns with Helen. Here goes nothin.' The sun was just beginning to rise over the lands of Troy, and many were still asleep. Andromache, however, could find no rest knowing what peril lay ahead. She held Paris very close to her heart, but she felt somewhat ashamed to have such a foolish brother-in-law. Yet the ties of the royal family were strong with love and forgiveness, and she thought of Helen just as a sister.
She was leaning against a stone-pillar, wearing nothing but a sheer nightgown, and shawl wrapped around her shoulders. The morning breeze lifted her dark curls into the air gently, and sent her gown flowing out behind her like waves of the sea. Andromache was lost in deep thought, brows furrowed. Her sweet son was still asleep in the crib inside from the balcony, and Hector no where to be found.

A soft breeze blew across the island on which Achille's lived and the sunlight's dappled sheen played across the ground. The sea sparkled like a great living jewel, always changing, always in motion. The trees reached upwards with long, thin fingers that called to the sky, willing for the sun gods to smile kindly upon them even more so that they may grow as tall as the clouds themselves.
But Achilles and Patrochlus knew nothing of this. They were busy with other things.
"Come on, cousin," laughed Achilles heartily, as he easily parried another blow from the clearly frustrated Patrochlus, his hair flying behind him like spun gold. Patrochlus lurched forwards again and Achilles leapt to the side of the small, sand-covered arena they were practising in. The young man lost his balance and went pitching forwards. Achilles caught him by the wrist and hauled his cousin back to his feet.
"Concentrate. Always, always consentrate. Now let's try again!"

Andromache bit her bottom lip, as she started thinking of all the terrible things that could happen to her son, and then of all the things that might have been done to Hector, her beloved husband. She was so caught up in her own worry, that the sound of her child's cry startled her.
She immediately piveted around and dashed back into her bedchambers, running to her son who was fussing in his crib. He resembelled his father so much.. she thought. Leaning down, she picked the babe up gently, and in her arms cradled him, hushing for him to go back to sleep; and he soon did...
" I won't let anything happen to you...I promise. If I must steal your father's armour and ride into battle for your life.. I promise you I will."
She held him close to her, and turned around, walking back out onto the balcony. Her mahogany eyes gazed solemnly out into the blue horizon of the sea. The sea which seperated Spartan from Troy.

Patrochlus leapt forwards once more and Achilles had to bring his blade up very suddenly to block the blow. "Very impressive. Now you're beginning to use you head!" complimented Achilles. Patrochlus backed off slightly, grinning at the praise, and Achilles took his moment. He brought his blade arcing through the air and pushed his cousin backwards against a nearby pillar, the blade mere inches from his unprotected throat.
"That's where you're going wrong. You're enemy's blade will not stop, Patrochlus. They will not be as leniant I. Their blow would fall and that," as Achilles spoke he spun his cousin round, knocking Patrochlus' own weapon to the ground, "Would be the end of that. Now, try again."
The cousins were so deeply involved in their sparring it took Achilles far longer than usual to notice that they were no longer alone. He avoided another blow with ease and grabbed his cousin's wrist as he passed, allowing the young man's momentum to send him sprawling on the ground. As Patrochlus struggled to find his feet, Achilles loked around. The wind had changed. Someone was nearby, but who? And where?
Achilles whirled, bringing his blade up in a fighting stance, and saw a small arI disagreeembled just within the trees, every bow pointing at him. A man slightly older than himself stood at there head, already decked out in full battle armour. He waved a hand and the soldiers unnocked their arrows and relaxed slightly but there eyes were still wary, fixed on the legendary warrior before them.
"By the gods," said Achilles quietly, a small smile playing over his lips. "Odysseuss! What brings you here, friend?"
