Ariadnne crept out of the town, following the river, until she came to the clearing currently inhabited by so many but the one most prominent to her gaze was... A centaur.
For many aeons, the different species of nymphs and the centaurs had lived in peace and through their united guidance the land had prospered. However, there came a time when the centaurs seemed to forsake their lands for something far greater: the sky. As astrology became a fierce way of life to the centaurs, the nymphs began to feel betrayed and unwanted and as their knowledge of the skies grew the way they treated the nymphs changed. The centaurs became far more condescending towards her species, treating them as though they were simple merely because they had no interest in the night stars. A terrible war had been fought in which much blood was spilt on both sides and though a Peace Treaty had been signed, a deep resentment still festered between the two races whose long lives enabled them to remember thje events of that tragic war.
Ariadnne let out a low hiss, and crouched down, ready to draw her dagger if needs be.

Patting her pocket, she strided towards her mentor, Rorak's house. It had been a few days since they last spoke. Jumping over the steps, she knocked softly on the door. " Rorak?" She asked, leaning on the frame. " Are you there? "

No one responded right away to Queen Mab. She grew annoyed but said to all of them, "If any of you are in need of a favor, all you have to do is call out my name." Within a blink of the eyes, she transformed into a blackbird and flew past them to the sea by the emerald vale. As she flew over the water, she noticed something on the cresting waves. A selke swam to the rocks by the shore and shed her seal skin, changing into human form. Her name was Niar. In Queen Mab's eyes there was a gleam of mischief and she hatched a plan of how she coulduse Niar to her purpose. "Now," thought Queen Mab, "I just need someone to steal her skin. But who?" She circled Niar and observed her. Then she quickly flew back to her palace to hatch her plan. Niar lay asleep on the rocks as the waves crushed against them. She was fair of face and had a kind heart. However, her heart belonged to the sea alone . . unless a man were to steal her skin. Then her heart would be his as long as her skin remained hidden from her sight.

((sorry I haven't been on.. homework drownage... )) A wisp of wind swept across Irina's beautiful face. Her bow now lay rested across her chest, while her spear was already put back into position across her back. Her hand brushed across this new one's hand, and shook it gently, before letting go. For once, nobody ran or drew arms in the sight of Irina. She watched as more strangers lurked about. She noted that there were those of morphing powers, magical abilities. She was not afraid of them. A small, shallow breath was let out, before her equine legs stood frozen and fridgid, unable to move. But then, out of nowhere, intuitive senses kicked in. It was basically her 6th sense. Something was wrong. And there was but another stranger lurking by. She could feel it. Her gut feelings were screaming "RUN!" from all around her. A hand now clutched the bow very firmly, and her clammy hands were now dampening the feather of her yew, worn arrow. Her breaths became more rushed and hasty, her chest heaving underneath her gray shawl. It was now time to plan, just as she did before. Invisibility would help her only but a little in this situation. Drawing arms would only anger this threat, but... what if? What if she did both? She would be a deadly enemy then. And a bonus! There would be no trace, since the rain was pounding ever so hard. Three words echoed through her mind. "This is perfect." Irina quickly retreated backwards, and then into another nook and cranny in the boulders. This would make her very hard to spot, since the only way to see her now was directly above her. A quiet whisper in her native tounge was spoken, enabling her invisiblility. Now it was a time for hide-and-go-seek. She quietly strung her bow, and kept it taught, so if she were to release it's deadly powers, it would be enough to kill. Her centaur hooves ever so slightly stepped forward, trying to make as little sound as possible. Her hooves now moved from mud to grass, so now her presence was even more difficult to tell. She moved stealthy amongst the short grass, until she reached a perfect place. No, not a perfect place for hiding, but a perfect place for firing. And this perfect place, my friend, was from the back of a large tree. And so she waited for her threat to make it's move.

Rafea was surprised at the Queen Mab's...rashness. Certainly one so powerful should not be so hasty. But then, she was royalty, so what could you expect?
As she was pondering this, and testing her feathery wings, she felt a shimmering in the air. It felt like an invisibility spell. Rafea knew that this was now a place of much secrecy and magic, and could sense someone - something - behind her. With a great beat of her wings she was in the tree, hopefully out of danger.

Eilnys looked round Irina had disapered, she had an idea she had become invisible agian, EIlnys jumped into the tree's to see if she could see anything, yes she could she saw Irina wedged into the boulders, Eilnys let out a low laugh and then climbed to the top of the tree the rain thinning a bit, she let out a low long whistle holding onto the top branch so the wind wouldn't blow her out, she stood watching the sky waiting for Darnys to come flying through the sheets of rain that were plummeting down.
Just then Eilnys spotted a large object come flying towards her, she grinned as Darnys her loyal friend came swooping down and hovering next to the tree, her wings beating down making it harder to move, she let go off the tree and jumped onto Darnys back "To Rorak" she yelling over the the howlign wind, Darnys let out a roar and turned and flew off into the rain

Rorak listened as the Bird flew in to the room... As soon as the falcon began to morph into a druid form Rorak could sense it but he said nothing of it... He was about to ask the girls name when he heard a knock on the door and the chirping of a familiar voice...
'Aodhain! I'm here... do come in.' He spoke as he felt the druid morph once more. He was curious as to the druid's intentions... Curious but not afraid,

Aodhain slipped in the room. " Greetings. " She said, tripping over a box near the door. She walked briskly towards him and placed a hand on his shoulder. " How are you, Rorak? "

Rorak placed his old, frail hand on hers. He was conforted by her presence. 'I'm fine my young friend. It brings warmth to my heart to see you again.' He gazed aimlessly up to the direction of her voice. To Aodhain, it looked remarkably like he was staring her in the eyes. 'Can you feel it Aodhain? The power behind the storm... You can, can't you?'

Aodhain closed her eyes and exhaled. " Yes.." she said. " I can."

'It is the coming tides of darkness. It is the beginning my young one. Do not fear the unknown, only through facing your doom will you reach your destiny.'
A moment of refection passed before Rorak spoke again. 'The bird... is it still here?'

Aodhain soaked up what her mentor had told her, remembering every word. " Of course. " she said, as if in a trance. She looked around for the bird. " Yes, he is still here. "
