How should Life Outside LotR be split up?

(Note that since there isn't just one choice you should vote for, this isn't formatted as a poll.)

As you may have noticed, the Life Outside LotR has grown quite large recently, so that even popular threads get pushed onto the second or third page in no time. To clean things up a little, I've decided it would be a good idea to split LOL (Life Outside LotR, not laughing out loud) into a few separate sections. Here's a list of the sections I've thought up:

Movies (discuss the movies, actors and actresses, production crews, etc.)
Literature (books, poems, plays, etc.)
Music
Your Life (should be renamed, but people can talk about what's going on in their lives)
World Events (talk about what's going on in the world BESIDES politics and religion)
Miscellaneous Randomness (for anything LOL-related that doesn't fit into any other category)

What do you think of this list? Do you think any categories should be added? Should any be taken out? Should any be renamed? Be sure to post and let the staff know!

Spliting it is a good idea... a really good idea!
I think it would be good if there was a section for films/literature/music etc(I think they could go together,) one for general life, one for randomness, and perhaps one for forum games like the "^<v" game....

I like the selection. it's well chosen.
I don't know whether it's necessary to have a "Music" board......this could be part of "your life" (don't like that title...but don't have any idea at the moment....).

The only thing that has to be considered is that the forum will be much bigger after adding all these boards...But that's a detail.
I like this idea Arwen because LOL is really quite messed up....

Here is what i think it should be:

Life outside LotR
-Games (The ^<V game, say something about the person before you, etc.)
Spam (Random board where posts dont count)
Entertainment (Discuss movies, books, music, etc)
Pictures/Graphics (Post pictures and graphics where people comment)

Um, thats just an idea but i think it would work well. Life Outside LotR is too cluttered.

Would "Movies" include TV? You should rename it Movies/Television. Other than that, I think those are all great ideas. ElendilElessar: Posts always count, there's no way to make a board where they don't. Good idea though.

Yeah LOL has needed to be split up for a while now. That is a good idea Elvawen with the Movie/Television section. ElendilElessar, you are right about maybe needing a picture section. You could have different topics for different types of pictures.

I think that is very efficent and if we all go by the rules it should work out. I was thinking a little more general like people, places, random, cinema. But you got more into detail so I think it's really good.

i think it shud be split because if i make a thread it is o a differnet page in like 10 minutes....

I think there should also be a clubs section, because a lot of it is clubs and little games like say something about the person before u.

I also would suggest a fanclub board.....there are so many of them.....if we had a board it would be easier to have them all together and find them:)

I think that's a pretty good idea. I liked the suggestion of a 'Your Life' section, since those posts seem to be in a majority. A Games section might be a good idea as well.
