Isteleth turned to Sen but he was not there, she looked round and spotted him walking over to her and Silmariel with a woman "Suilad, Sen you like to stop for dinner?" she asked

*Sen looked off to the east; a dark cloud was growing over Mordor. Sen thought for a moment; he did not want to set his will against the tides of Mordor, and make himself known. Not yet. For he feared he felt some darkness in the keep of this white city...*
I think I will. I have not eaten for three days; my buisness with the Steward can wait, but not for long. A quick bite, then I must speak to him.

"I shall go to the Steward and arrange for you to have an audience." Silmeriel said. "Go eat."

Isteleth smiled "Of course" she turned and led them the way to the royal kitchens "It will be easier to eat in here, my father has taken leave off Gondor and left for Rohan a few days back" she explained

*Sen followed Isteleth into the kitchen after thanking Silmeriel. He listened as he was given a slice of bread and cheese by one of the cooks.* Who might your father be? The road to Rohan has grown perilous; he must be brave to go there.

"Well surly you can't guess who my father is, seen as i look the image of my mother Arwen Undomiel, Queen of Gondor, and well my father is King Elessar" she smiled "Also another reason why we're not eating in the halls is because the Lord faramir seems strange of late, i think he is being controlled by evil, even Lady Eowyn says he has changed" She finshed and took a bite from a slice of bread she had just buttered

(OOC: Ah, this is a bit confusing. I thought I was playing when Denethor was still Steward. Ah well. We can play it this way.)
*Sen wore a puzzled look on his face, before speaking.* The daughter of a king? Surely I am in great company. Forgive me for not knowing quite well who they are; we do not recieve much news from the north where we come from. Alas, I have said too much. I would very much like to meet Queen Arwen Undomiel and King Ellesar, when he returns.

Silmeriel joined them. "We have been granted an audience in a quarter of an hour. Let us go, so that we are not late." she urged.

*Sen put down the food he was eating, and after briefly thanking the cooks, he tightened his belt, and smoothed out his gear. He knew that the slightest fault may prove to turn a situation to the worst.*
I agree. Shall we leave then? We have much to speak about, the Steward and I.
(OOC: Is Arwen there? If she is, I have an idea for a couple of posts...)

Miralyn glanced around the room. She could sense that the danger was very near....

*Sen follows Silmeriel out into the cold evening air. He wraps his cloak around him, partly beacause of the cold, and partly to conceal a slight movement of his hand to a dagger at his side. The darkness stirred, and something felt strange. Evil was awake in this city, and it was coming.*
(OOC: Miralyn, are you going to post what the danger is, or do you want me to write something down?)

((Oh sorry oh well, i had a idea about Faramir, you know when Theoden was controlled by Saruman, i thought we could do somthing like that with Faramir))
Isteleth nodded and followed them she had a bad feeling about this. "Naneth should be there, hopfully she should be able to keep things in order" she sighed and walked into the halls, she walked up to where Lord Faramir was seated with her mother and Eowyn. "Naneth, Lord faramir" she said bowing her head and standing to the side

Silmeriel heard the rasp of cloth on stone as she neared an alley, and dived sideways, knocking Sen out of the path of a thrown dagger. She rolled to her feet, alert for danger.

*As the dagger missed, Sen heard the whistle of an arrow. He stretched out his hand, and the arrowhead and shaft whispered through his fingers, stopping a hair away from Silmeriel's eye, caught by the feathers. The momentum of the arrow carried it around in one smooth movement into Sen's bow, strangely out without Silmeriel seeing it so, and Sen fired the arrow back to where it came from. She heard a brief scream in the shadows, before Sen grabbed her arm.*
Come, my lady, it will be safer in the citadel. There may be others.
*Sen and Silmeriel ran up the road, and finally came to the stairs to the upper level of the city. It was only then that they slowed down. Silmeriel saw that Sen's bow was again stowed on his back.*

"That was very quick on your part." Silmeriel complimented him. "Thank you for saving my life."
