Why, thank you, Arien and Annemari! I like this banner too! I found it in the banners section of this site, just so you know where it is if you want to put it in your siggy as well! In case you're wondering, I've basically remembered my riddle; i'm just still twiddling with it. So hopefully it will be up soon, though it might not seem worth all this trouble when i finally post it.

And you're right, whoever made that banner DID do and incredible job. Okay here's that riddle! (I've improved it a bit from the version I originally had in mind.) I chose at the Council to take up the One-- To walk in the Darkness, forsaking the Sun, Accepting the torment, refusing its call And now I walk free as the Morning-rays fall. Actually it shouldn't be that hard, considering who posted it.

FRODO! That was a very pretty riddle, you know - almost like a poem! I got one: Who was the one all clothed in black Captured the innocent, forsaken the luck. This could be one of 2 things. Think carefully

Aww! Thanks! It's Frodo! It's beautiful! Sounds like a poem and rhymes wonderfully. Yours is a bit harder Alessae. One of the nine riders?

Is it Arwen? It says "all clothed in black" does that mean the Flight to the Ford scene. And then it says "captured the innocent" which would stand for her rescuing Frodo. and the last part "forsaken the luck" would be her forsaking her immortality.

It isn't, but Arien, I'm really impressed - that was such a good interpretation, and actually makes more sense than the person I meant it to be about. Would you like me to tell you?

Nooo! Don't tell us. Not yet. I want to think about this one. *few minutes later she returns, running, out of breath*
Boromir or Aragorn. I thought about them because the riddle says "forsaken the luck". And they both wear (mostly) black.... give or take an elvish cloak.
