I think that the person who played Bilbo in the LotR should play him in teh Hobbit (uggh i forgot his name) and if he doesnt..i just think the movie will be kinda bad..i mean..i dont wanna see someone else playing him uk?

If the Hobbit were to be made I would want Ian Holm to play Bilbo but I think he's too old. Maybe it would be better if it wasn't made...

I would not have Elijah as Bilbo, as Ian would be perfectly able to have that part. Many people seem to think Ian is as old as he was at the end of RotK (  ), but he is more like he was in the beginning of FotR, and that is exactly the way he looked when he found the Ring as his aging then stopped... |

No he looks older than that because in FOTR he had to have his skin pulled back to make it look less wrinkled and I doubt he'd want to do that for the whole film. This is what he looks like normally: www.imdb.com/name/nm0000453/I think that is too old to play a 50 year old esspecially as a 50 year old hobbit is younger than a human. I don't actually mind that much if they choose someone else to be Bilbo. |

Well, I know he looks like that, but he also looked like that when making FotR, and if they make that movie I think I would do it, even tough he would have to stretch his skin every day.  |

Yes but it might mean he wouldn't want the part and they can't force people to be in it  Also would it not affect his acting? It might make it less easy to show his expressions. |

I do not want Elijah playing Bilbo..i want the Bilbo who was playing Bilbo in the LotR..to play Bilbo in the hobbit..it wouldnt be right if he didnt...but yeah..i see what you mean. He cant exacly play that part..hes way too old..but i definatley dont want Elijah doing it..they should get someone new to do it if they did in fact make the hobbit.

Yes, I think that Ian Holm should be Bilbo in the Hobbit. As much as I love Elijah Wood, I don't think he'd be right for the role. And I think I even read somewhere that he doesn't want to play Bilbo in the Hobbit: he thinks that Ian Holm should.

Also, there are ways of making people look younger WITHOUT having to hold someones face back. Maybe Sir Ian should just who for a whole lot of Botox injections |

I say Ian Holm should play Bilbo if he agress to pulling back his skin everyday. I don't think Elijah should play him. It doesn't really fit and it probably will confuse people who aren't obsessed to see Frodo playing Bilbo.
