Yeah I hated these screams. The nazgul were far scaryier than the Eye. Esspecially in the dark at weathertop but Shelob was far scareyier than either. All those legs *shivers

Nazgul on horseback would be the scariest for me. On fell beasts they're kind of dwarfed, and not very frightening. I agree that the Eye of Sauron, although it might make some first-time watchers jump a bit, isn't scary. Shelob didn't exactly frighten me, but I kept wincing every time she almost stung Frodo, and I REALLY jumped when she finally got him (ack I could hardly watch at that point *cringe*).

Yeah definately the nazgul but if you had the sound turned up to max (like in a cinema or the 1 i go to) then when you hear those loud noises it made be shiver!

I go with the Nazgul - anything that can wield a sword like that with a ricasso-style has got my vote for scary as all Hell.
